Sermon Title – Tenacity Scripture – Acts 21:10-14 While we were staying there for several days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. He came to us and took Paul’s belt, bound his own feet and hands with it, and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit, ‘This is the way the Jews in Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’” When we heard this, we and the people there urged him not to go up to Jerusalem. Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” Since he would not be persuaded, we remained silent except to say, “The Lord’s will be done.”
I Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord, because you know that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

Psalm 46 (selected verses)
All singing: A mighty fortress is our God; his Kingdom is forever. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. People: Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change, Leader: though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea; though its waters roar and foam, People: though the mountains tremble with its tumult. All singing: A mighty fortress is our God; his Kingdom is forever. Leader: The Lord of hosts is with us; People: the God of Jacob is our refuge. Leader: Come, behold the works of the Lord; People: see what desolations he has brought on the earth. Leader: He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; People: he breaks the bow, and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. All singing: A mighty fortress is our God; his Kingdom is forever. Leader: “Be still, and know that I am God! People: I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth.” Leader: The Lord of hosts is with us; People: the God of Jacob is our refuge.
