Soup for Sale The Circles of UMW are putting their hearts into preparing their signature soups for you to purchase and enjoy during this heart healthy month. Proceeds go to the Interfaith Hunger Initiative. Cost is $10 for a 32-oz. container. The UMW are selling their soups in the West Passage before and after morning services today. Choose from vegetable, chicken noodle, taco, white chicken chili and vegetable beef.

Grief Ministries Information Meeting All are welcome to learn more about the St. Luke’s grief ministry (H.U.G.S.) for those who have lost a spouse or significant other. Speakers will offer stories of triumph over tragedy and how group support has contributed to their wholeness. A light pizza supper will be offered following the program. Today, 2-4PM in Fellowship Hall.

March Communion Monthly The latest issue of our monthly publication is available today from a friendly usher following the service, in the stands in the Narthex, the front office and at your convenience from home or office at www.stlukesumc.com. This issue includes a complete listing of our Holy Week activities, as well as the other new and ongoing activities. Don’t leave St. Luke’s without a copy today!

Children’s Music Fundraiser Tickets Are you known as the “Champ of Chili” or the “Master of Mac & Cheese? Then enter our Chili and Mac & Cheese Cook-Off, Sunday March 3 from 10:30AM-12:30PM in the Great Hall. Sign up to bring your top-secret recipe at www.mysignup.com/stlukeschilicookoff. Entries will be judged by those who attend. Proceeds will benefit the St. Luke’s Children’s Music Program. Come enjoy the entries, along with delicious sides, salads and desserts, and enjoy our talented young musicians in action. Celebrate Mike's Climb! Mike Marker, a member of our church, recently climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise money to provide scholarship from inner city communities to attend our UMC conference camps this summer. Today at 10:30 there will be a reception in W125, hosted by our Conference, to recognize Mike and thank him for his efforts. All are welcome to come hear about his adventure and celebrate his success!

Encore Ministries Gathering Baby Boomers are aging in a totally different way than the images of preceding generations. Indianapolis Youth Chorale Concert The dynamic Indianapolis Youth Chorale, an ensemble comprised of multi-talented 10th-12th grade students from the Indianapolis area, is under the direction of Cheryl West, Director of St. Luke’s New Song ensemble. They will perform in our Sanctuary on Friday, March 8 at 7PM. The concert is free and all are welcome.

Hire a Teen/Silent Auction This annual fundraiser benefiting St. Luke’s youth, particularly for mission trips in summer 2013, will take place on March 17, 9AM-1PM in the Great Hall. The silent auction will include items donated from community companies, as well as hot items like dinners and events with St. Luke’s pastors. St. Luke’s youth will also offer babysitting, tutoring, lawn services, spring cleaning, organizing, etc. Stop by and show your support for St. Luke’s youth.
