With lifelong learning at its heart, the programme includes workshops, courses, talks, concerts and training. The Stables aims to encourage people to become involved in music, whether by developing existing skills or offering a musical experience for the first time. The programme offers events for children and young people, through to opportunities for more experienced audiences and music makers. Our outreach work and partnerships aim to support people across the region who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in musicmaking activities.

You’ll also look at how ‘phrasing’ can help with the challenges of some songs and have a go at singing with backing tracks and stripped-down guitar accompaniment.

Beat the queue in the interval by pre-ordering your drinks. Collect and enjoy at your leisure, either in our foyer or back in your seat.

Snack Bar

Our popular snack bar has a selection of hot and cold drinks on offer – a hot chocolate might be the order of the day as the weather turns colder. Or how about a mulled wine to warm you through – and why not add a festive mince pie, available from 1 December?

Hospitality Packages AT THE STABLES

Enjoy bespoke hospitality packages* for all occasions, whether you are celebrating a special birthday, anniversary or simply wanting a private space for time to catch up with colleagues, friends or family.

We can offer exclusive use of Stage 2 or our Hospitality Room (depending on numbers), both pre-show and during the interval, with a dedicated event manager and event staff.

Packages can be built together to include specific drink requests (subject to availability) and various options for catering. Pre-ordered drink options are also available.

*Please note that hospitality packages do not include any show ticket requirements/costs.
