ACCESSIBLE ROOMS If you have additional accessibility requirements for your living spaces, we have several adapted rooms available at Leek Road Halls and Clarice Cliff Court. These rooms consist of accessible facilities such as lowered work surfaces, sinks and ovens in the kitchen spaces and accessible bathrooms. Some bedrooms also offer larger spaces with room for specialist equipment that students may need to bring with them into their accommodation. Where necessary, we can also provide specialist equipment for your safety, such as vibrating pillow alarms which are used in conjunction with our fire alarm systems for hearing impaired residents. If you require an accessible space or would like to discuss adaptations to your living experience, including additional support, get in touch with our Student Inclusion Team who will be able to fully support you on your university journey.
