Keynote speaker Steven Falk, one of the UK’s best entomologist’s and author of the new “Field guide to the bees of Great Britain and Ireland” is the first ever comprehensive guide book on British bees! We will be selling his book at the Fair and Steven will be on hand to sign it for you.

For ages 14 and above on some of the most popular groups. No experience required.
Leading societies for you to come and chat to at the event will include Buglife, Butterfly Conservation, Dipterists Forum, Bees, Wasps and Ants Recording Society, Staffordshire Invertebrate Group and many more!!
Ask the expert Bring along a digital photo and the County’s top experts will try to help you identify it.
Lots of talks throughout the day Loads of stuff for young kids too including indoor pond dipping, bug drawing, bug willow weaving, picture bug hunt and much more!
