Keep Talking is a collaborative project between Expert Citizens CIC and Staffordshire University, both based in Stoke-on-Trent in the West Midlands, UK. The project is funded by UKRI Enhancing Partnerships for Placed Based Research fund. Community researchers from Staffordshire University and Expert Citizens CIC, along with representatives from Stoke-on-Trent based community organisations and Staffordshire University staff have contributed to this guide. The aim of Keep Talking is to understand how universities and community organisations can work together to effectively support sustainable community research. This guide outlines key principles for community based participatory research projects and partnership, along with some practical actions universities and community organisations can take to support community research teams.
