Summer Camp Information

• Register online. Pre-registration is required. For more information and to register, go to ogdennaturecenter.org/learn/summer-camps or call 801-621-7595. We cannot accept reservations through the mail or without payment.

• Camp sizes are limited to ensure a quality experience, and will be lled on a rstcome, rst-serve basis.

Free Summer Saturdays At Ogden Nature Center

Saturdays, June 3 through August 19, 2023

Free admission for everyone, all day, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., along with free nature crafts and activities led by an Ogden Nature Center naturalist at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. each Saturday. Many thanks to Weber County R.A.M.P. for funding Free Summer Saturdays in our community.

Toddler Tracks

For ages 2-3

These two-hour toddler camps are designed for young children and one caregiver. All camps will provide necessary materials. T-shirts available for purchase. No meals are provided in these camps.

Buds, Blooms, Butter ies

June 9, 9 to 11a.m.

$24 per class (includes parent/child pair)

Enjoy the wonder of beautiful butter ies, buzzing bees and blossoming buds as you and your tot explore the colorful world of owers and their pollinators. Sing songs, play silly games and make a fun craft in this hands-on frolic with nature.

Animal ABC’s

June 21, 9 to 11 a.m.

Antelopes, beavers, and chickadees, oh my! Learn about animals and nature through games, songs and crafts with a focus on the ABC’s.

Sensational Nature

July 7, 9 to 11 a.m.

See, hear, taste, smell and feel your way through the fascinating world of plants, animals, dirt and rocks. Use your ve senses to explore nature’s mysteries and meet some of our resident animals as you learn how some animal senses di er from ours.

Splish, Splash, Splat

July 21, 9 to 11 a.m. or 3 to 5 p.m.

$24 per class (includes parent/child pair)

Prepare to get wet as we learn what oats, sinks and swims in water at the Nature Center. We’ll dip for bugs in the pond, nd out what water does to a sand castle and hear stories about the creatures that call water their home.

Shape of Nature

July 26, 9 to 11 a.m.

Join us as we explore shapes in nature! Circles, triangles and squares can be found in many animals and plants. Explore the trails with a naturalist in search of shapes, play games, sing songs and create some fun shape art.

Nature’s Palette

August 4, 9 to 11 a.m.

Dress in your not-so-best and join the Ogden Nature Center sta in a messy art exploration day. Play with paint, dirt, leaves, sticks and more as you use nature’s palette to create works of art.
