Mud Puppies

August 9, 9 to 11 a.m. or 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

$24 per class (includes parent/child pair)

$10 - $12 per camp T-shirt

Join us as we get our hands dirty with some good old-fashioned mud fun. Find out why dirt is so important as we dig holes, nd worms, make animal tracks and hear stories about animals in burrows. Dress for the mess!

Fledglings Camps

For ages 4-6

These camps are designed for our 4- to 6-year-old friends who are ready for their rst camp experience away from their parents. Three hours in length provides the perfect opportunity for friends, fun and learning. Register for one day or the whole week. All camps will provide necessary materials. T-shirts available for purchase.

Fables and Fairy Tales Fledglings

June 12-16, 9 a.m. to noon

$32 per class

$10 - $12 per camp T-shirt

Learn about the real life counterparts to our favorite fable and fairy tale characters in this magical summer camp.

Knee High Naturalists Fledglings

July 10-14, 9 a.m. to noon

$160 for the full week (includes T-shirt)

Introduce your child to science as we explore di erent naturalist areas edgling style! Campers will spend the week learning to be bold little botanists, brilliant little biologists, clever little chemists and more through fun crafts, games and activities! This camp is a week-long commitment and cannot be scheduled for individual days.

SINGLE-DAY CAMPS

For various ages

Crafts, games, adventures and challenges make these camps perfect for campers who can only squeeze in a single-day adventure. All camps will provide necessary materials. T-shirts available for purchase. No meals are provided in these camps. Please pack your own lunches.

Working with Wildlife – Ages 13-16

June 19, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

(Aftercare available until 5 p.m.)

$55 per camper

So, you want to work with animals? Spend a day with our wildlife specialist to get a taste of this job. Enjoy all the fun of camp along with real-world experience in this hands-on animal adventure. Get up close and personal with our resident birds as you learn what it takes to keep them happy and healthy. Try your hand at radio-tracking and food preparation and race your fellow campers in tying a proper falconer’s knot. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get a sneak peek at wildlife care, something that’s usually only available for volunteers over the age of 18.

Caring for Creatures – Ages 11-13

June 20, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Snakes, salamanders and spiders! All our critters need care. Help us feed, clean and care for our smaller critters and learn what animals in captivity need. Feed a tarantula, exercise a desert tortoise and clean a milk snake’s cage during this day devoted to caring for creatures.

Nature’s Underdogs – Ages 8-10

June 22, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Explore the lives of some creatures that are often overlooked, from prey animals overshadowed by the predators that hunt them to animals that may seem simple but have secret hidden skills. Come enjoy this day learning about those who are sometimes forgotten!

The Art of Nature – Ages 10-12

July 5, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Let nature be your nurturer and muse as you create art in an outdoor setting with an outdoor theme. Be inspired by being outside, and enjoy replicating the natural world through drawing, painting and crafts.
