Animal Olympics – Ages 10-12

July 31 -August 4

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Friday, late night from 6 to 11 p.m (no camp during the day on Friday)

$185 per class (includes camp T-shirt)

Members receive a 10% discount

Jumping, swimming and ying! What other talents do Olympians and animals have in common? Join the Ogden Nature Center in our very own Olympic games inspired by the incredible creatures that roam the earth.

Family Camps

For families of all ages

Family Campout: Songs, Skits, Stars and S’mores

July 7, 6 p.m., to July 8, 9 a.m. ‘

$100/family of 5 and $8 each additional family member Camp under the stars with your family at Ogden Nature Center’s Dumke Picnic Grove. Take a guided hike through the Nature Center and learn about nocturnal creatures that inhabit the preserve at night. Songs, skits and s’mores will cap o the evening before you slumber under the stars. We will provide the entertainment, s’mores, a hot dog dinner and a cold breakfast. Bring your own tent, sleeping bags and mess kits. Space is limited to eight families and registration is required.

Adult Camps

For ages 21 & older

Camp re Date Night

June 23, 7:30 to 11 p.m.

$55 per couple

Bring your favorite person to snuggle with under the stars. The camp re program is for adults 21 and older. This will be a fun evening complete with pudgy pie dinners, s’mores, an evening nature walk and, to top it o , stargazing.

Art in Nature

July 28th, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Ages 21 & older

$140 per person

Optional: Even Steven’s box lunch - full, $12, or half option, $9

Get creative in nature with this day of exploring, sculpting, painting and drawing. Campers ages 21 and older will work with local artists to sculpt with clay, paint with acrylics and use pen and watercolor to explore the natural world around them. Bring a water bottle and be ready to walk a little and create a lot.

Volunteens

For ages 13-16

June 6 through August 10, 9 a.m. to noon every Tuesday and Thursday

$45 for the summer (includes T-shirt)

Serve, learn and have fun with a unique program designed to get teens out of the house this summer. Participate in citizen science, habitat restoration, Nature Center projects and more, all while making friends and giving back to the community. Volunteens work on- and o -site with Nature Center sta in a fun, friendly, supervised learning environment. Space is limited and admission is not guaranteed.
