Independence Day & out to play
Dip-Dyed Baguette Boards from Terrain, starting at $128
jenny gumbert I love my country, but I’m not what one would called a “gung-ho American.” But on US holidays I celebrate like the average person—by having a festive party! No holiday honors The U.S.A. more than the fourth of July, so if I’m going to get a little crazy about America, it’s going to be on this day. When I think of celebrating Independence Day, I think of an outdoor bar-
becue with plenty of delicious foods, good friends and excellent drinks (a cold pool would also be a welcome addition). Before everyone digs into a giant platter of fatty meats, I think these platters from Terrain would be an excellent spot to place the perfect American summer appetizer— juicy watermelon. Happy fourth everyone!
