The International Women’s Coffee Alliance is exhibiting efforts to make working conditions, financial compensation, and knowledge of the coffee industry more accessible for women in Africa in order to empower women in the coffee sector. The IWCA is bringing together women who have never been able to financially support themselves and is opening doors for opportunities to become involved in the coffee trade. Already, women in the industry are forming alliances, opening coffee businesses, and declaring themselves “sisters of coffee.”

...the work that IWCA is doing will have you reaching for more than just a cup of Joe. We think that coffee bean prints will add a little warmth to your room and show your support for the women in the African coffee industry. We suggest the Bean Chair from Tucker Robbins for a relaxing place to sip your morning coffee.
