The following is a brief description of the characters kids will meet in Downloadable Hero Training, along with some costume suggestions: • Cooper the dog puppet becomes Super Cooper! Your preschoolers will love him! If you don’t already have the Cooper puppet, see the Hero HeadQuarters Products file or go to www.standardpub.com to purchase. You’ll want to make sure that Super Cooper wears a superhero cape! • Pizza Man is a wacky superhero! Pizza Man can wear any kind of funny superhero costume, but it would be great for him to wear a cape made from red-and-white checked fabric or a tablecloth and carry an empty pizza box. • Water Woman is also a wacky superhero! Water Woman can wear any kind of funny superhero costume, especially if it has to do with water. Water Woman could wear swim goggles, flippers, and carry a water bottle. • Maintenance Mac is the maintenance tech at Hero HeadQuarters. He works with the kids and wacky superheroes to learn what it means to be a hero for God. He can be dressed in any kind of work clothes and wear a tool belt. Downloadable Hero Training is in the large group/small group format. But maybe you want to use this curriculum for individual classrooms. No problem! Here are some ideas: • Teachers can follow the lesson plans as written, with everything happening in their classrooms. For the Zero In skits, have either Cooper (preschool lessons) or the costumed characters (elementary lessons) visit each classroom and perform the skits. • Teachers can follow the lesson plans as written, with everything happening in their classrooms except the Zero In skits. For the Zero In skits, gather all the preschool classes into one room or area for the Cooper skits. Gather all the elementary classes into one room or area for the costumed characters skits. • Teachers can follow the lesson plans as written, with everything happening in their classrooms except that they don’t do the Zero In skits. Do you want elementary kids to have a different Bible memory verse each week? If so, see the Elementary Overview Chart file. One additional correlated Bible verse is listed for each lesson.

Notes You’ll want to save the original lessons you’ve downloaded. Once you make changes to any file, simply save that file with a different name. Then you’ll have the original and the file you’ve customized.
