LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR
Dear SAC Summer Camp Families,
Thank you for considering our camp as a part of your family’s summer 2025 plans. While our vibrant team grows, we continue to feel inspired to cultivate a dynamic home away from home for our campers as we foster a “great tradition in fun.”
Since its inception, SAC Summer Camp has welcomed thousands of young people to our community, encouraging the development of friendship and inclusivity while crafting memories to last a lifetime. Our hardworking staff members provide a variety of program options to appeal to each camper’s interests, nurturing our rich history through new adventures, all with enthusiasm to spare.
As you read through this season’s information package, you will discover our Multi-Sport, Specialty, and Kinder programs, each with an array of offerings to suit our diverse camp community. Our curated slate of activities has been designed to promote individual skill development through teamwork in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
We appreciate your trust and support, and we look forward to welcoming you to campus this summer.

General Information
The facilities on the 126-acre St. Andrew’s College campus offer an unforgettable summer camp experience for children aged 4 to 15. Under the guidance of dedicated staff, St. Andrew’s College Summer Camp provides an action-packed summer program for kids, promoting character, safety, and fun.
Our weekly programs offer unique summer experiences that encourage campers to be goal-oriented, build confidence in their abilities, and develop teamwork skills. Our staff is ready to deliver the key ingredient to any summer — fun!
Each week, campers are placed in groups with children of similar ages. These groups are supervised under the watchful care of their counsellors for each session. Counsellors provide constant support and supervision as they lead the campers in their various activities. Coaching staff supervise each activity.
When Registering
All information regarding your child helps ensure that we can provide a safe environment, resulting in the best possible experience for your camper. The more information you provide about your child, the better we can care for them in a way that meets specific individual needs.
If you want to share information about your camper, please indicate it on the online registration form. This information will help your child adjust to camp and will only be shared with staff members who will benefit from knowing more about your child.
Once you create an account or log in, the information you provide will be saved and can be accessed at another time. Your camper’s spot in a program will not be saved until your non-refundable deposit has been made.
Please have your camper’s health card number available. This information will only be used in the case of an emergency. Please provide an email address that you use regularly to relay important information.
Camp Hours
Camp runs daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please do not drop off campers before 8:30 a.m. as our staff is in daily meetings until this time.
Camp will run as usual on Canada Day.

Our Facilities
St. Andrew’s College offers a wide variety of facilities. The 126-acre campus of beautifully landscaped grounds includes the La Brier Family Arena (including an NHL-sized ice surface), the Yuill Family Athletic Complex (with a state-ofthe-art baseball diamond, a turf field, and batting cages), the Munro Family Tennis Courts (with six courts), Bedard Gym and Yuill Gym (two double gymnasiums), six international squash courts, a six-lane outdoor rubber track, and the 25-metre Walden Pool. There is also a rock-climbing wall and a high ropes course. Cole Dining Hall offers a variety of meals provided by SAC’s Food Services Department. The Centre for Leadership, Innovation & Performance includes Wirth Theatre and technology-enhanced classrooms used for Summer Camp Specialties. The Wirth Art Centre offers dedicated painting, ceramics, and pottery studios.
Lunch
Lunches and snacks are included in the weekly camp fee. Campers will receive both a morning and an afternoon snack. For lunch, campers may choose from an assortment of nutritious items served in SAC’s air-conditioned Cole Dining Hall. We encourage families to disclose their camper’s dietary needs and restrictions to the Camp Office prior to their arrival to better support their experience. We ask parents not to send any food items to camp for the safety of campers with allergies.
A.M. & P.M. Care
Campers can be dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m. and/or picked up as late as 5:15 p.m. for an extra fee. Enrolment in this program can be made anytime before your child’s first morning at camp. This program is fully supervised by our trained camp counsellors, who offer activities designed to keep campers busy until camp starts or their parents pick them up. We can provide daily or weekly care (see fee schedule on Page 8 for details).
Friday Programming
Campers in Multi-Sport and some Specialties will enjoy fullday activities in collaboration with other programs known as the Mass Game. Favourites include SAC Olympics, Carnival, Rock ’n’ Roll, The Amazing Race, and many more. Campers will remain in their groups when completing the themed events throughout the day.
Recreational Swim
A 30-minute recreational swim will be a part of the rotational schedule for Junior and Senior Multi-Sport and Specialty campers. Campers get to cool off a few times a week in the 25-metre indoor Walden Pool under the careful supervision of our NLS-certified lifeguards. Campers have a selection of floatation devices and are joined by their counsellors in the pool. Campers interested in swimming in the deep end must be able to swim the length of the pool without assistance (supervised by a lifeguard). Successful campers will receive a “deep-end bracelet” that must be worn for the week. Lost bracelets can be replaced with a re-test. If your child requires a life jacket, please email the Camp Office. Kinderstars and One-der Kids campers participate in water play instead of swimming in the pool.

Our full-day Specialty programs are custom-designed to use the facilities and resources available at St. Andrew’s College in a variety of areas, including arts, science, technology, and sports. Depending on the week(s) your child joins us, there are a range of Specialty programs to choose from, thereby allowing a camp experience specific to your camper’s interests. Some Specialties are only available for Junior or Senior campers. Please refer to the Program Options on Page 7 for more information about each Specialty.
Specialty programs have varying capacities and tend to fill up quickly. Space cannot be held or guaranteed. A completed registration form, including payment, is necessary to secure enrolment.
Leaders-In-Training (LIT)

LIT participants will spend the first week in class learning the characteristics and responsibilities of being a leader and helping to plan and run activities for the rest of the camp. During the second week, LIT campers will be assigned to a group of campers to shadow and assist experienced counsellors. They will receive ongoing feedback during the program and a final report at the end of the two weeks to help them continue to foster their skills.
