goes to the track a few times a year. The car was completely stock when I bought it and it’s been modded quite a bit over the last few years. The car is pretty wild and loose. Here’s a mod list basically with everything in between as well. It is a 2004 Terminator Cobra equipped with a Gen 5 3.0 Whipple, Harpell Autofab Custom Tanks, Kooks headers, 3” Exhaust, T56 Magnum Transmission, Mcleod RXT Clutch, Todd Warren Custom Cams, Team Z 9” Solid Axle Rear End, Viking Suspension, Ms3 Pro ECU, Wilwood 6 Piston Brakes, Fore Innovations Return Fuel System, runs on E85, and pushing around 900whp.

In the summer of 2013 my wife and I were at a reunion in Whistler B.C. and I had rented a S197 equipped with a 5.0 Coyote Mustang to drive up to Whistler from Vancouver. It was at that time that I decided to restore my 1994. I started putting money aside collecting parts used and after market. By the winter of 2015-16 I was ready to restore the car. The idea at first was to clean it up and just make it a “stock” restoration. That Idea did not last long. Driving the Coyote 5.0 rental meant the 92 Coupe needed to hold its own against the newer cars. I wanted a car that could handle a twisty mountain road with power to spare and have brakes that could manage the added power. My love of driving came from my dad, in his younger years he loved to drive fast especially on the mountain roads through B.C.

I recently purchased this Mustang needing some major TLC. With the help of Western Motorsports and Lakeview Automotive here in Calgary, we were able to bring this car back to its glory. It started out as a 2015 Mustang GT Performance Pack car. It was transformed by Western Motorsports with a Phase 2 Roush supercharger, upgraded fuel system, and a few other go fast goodies. The body received a full Roush front end, Steeda rear spoiler, 20” staggered wheels, as well as many suspension upgrades. The car came to me with major misfire issues, clogged cats, as well as major hail damage and paint damage. Between myself and Lakeview Automotive we have just about gotten it back to its glory days, while adding some cat deletes, exhaust/x-pipe and more boost. With a little bit more of

the throwback look to the retro Mustang days with modern amenities. After a little over 10 years I have only done some subtle personalization mods to it. It’s not the fastest car out there by any means but it’s still fun to drive and handles like a dream. It always brings a smile to my face when I get a thumbs up or a “nice car!” from strangers on the street. Being a part of the iconic looks and sounds of the Mustang community is what makes me proud to own not one, but two Mustang S197s! Mods for this one include a BBK Cold Air Intake with an Airaid Throttle Body Spacer for an awesome whistle sound easily audible through the Cervini’s Stalker II Hood and massive grille of the Street Scene Gen 1 Front Bumper.

I have driven my Mustang over 160,000km and have taken it on many road trips and made lots of memories in/with it and I’m always looking for excuses to add more! This past year I competed in Miles Of Mayhem, which is a drag n’ drive event. I placed 4th overall in the Bracket class, which had 70 cars in it. During that week I made 68 passes down the strip (gotta be some kind of a record), and drove it 2600km for the event without any issues! My best time in the 1/4 mile is 12.87 @ 113mph and I’m constantly trying to improve that because faster is more fun! Of course I wouldn’t be able to enjoy doing what I do without the love and support of my wife and kids.
