Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. Her name is Black Christine. The reason? Every time I work on her I always cut my knuckles and bleed, but, there never seems to be a reason why. I’ll notice when the blood dries and gets sticky. She’s aggressive and never backs down from a challenge. When purchased her used, it wasn’t because I wanted an upgrade from my 07. This car just seemed to speak to me. She is a 2013 Mustang GT with long tube headers, Cords extreme axle backs, 302 intake manifold, PMAS CAI, Hurst short throw shifter, and staggered 19” wheels with 19 x 8.5 in the front and 19 x 9.5 in the rear.

I was involved in a massive wreck at 131, another driver crossed center and put me in the wall, pretty much destroying both sides of the car and everything from the front suspension forward! We looked at a couple cars and ultimately set out on a second complete overhaul and restoration! New cage/roll bar replaced with a 14 point cage, new full quarter panels, new tail light panel, fiberglass doors, dash, and fiberglass front clip along with new rockers, and plenty of new suspension parts and front wheels were worked

Through all the trials and tribulations of life, friends dying, me going to jail, beating alcoholism, bad relationships, bad breakups, my Mustang has always been there for me. engine and transmission were broken. The car definitely had seen some better days. So I decided we were going to build a racecar out of it. It was a long three years of building it into a racecar. I had the help of my family and some great friends. It was always my goal to run nine seconds naturally aspirated at my home racetrack Bandimere Speedway. We finally reached that goal in 2021. It’s been a fun ten years of racing my Mustang and I look forward to seeing what else we can do with this car! List of mods include a 427 cubic inch SBF naturally aspirated, Ford C4 racing transmission, fiberglass front-end and hatchback, stock based suspension, built 8.8 rear-end, 8.50 cert roll cage, Team Z wing, and parachute.

Under the hood I added some aluminum covers and new tanks, powder coated the valve covers, and an intake spacer was added. This auto still turns heads being a real Shelby. Just two Mustangs so far but looking to do a Foxbody soon.

This car is my dream to own and to drive. It is a head turner for sure and never lets me down. It us the best hot rod I have ever owned. My passion is driving whenever I want to. My name is Walter Miller and this is my 1987 Foxbody Mustang aka The Mistress. The wife named it. Racing as been in the family for years. My dad raced lots of cars that I grew up watching, and about nine years ago I bought this car and I have been running it. With the help of my dad and brothers, we freshened up the 408W and built a C4 and then added a bady shot of nitrous to run in some different 1/8 and 1/4 mile classes/events. During the off season, we’re switching up the power adder and hoping to go a little faster so we can jump in some no prep events.

Growing up in the 70s I had access to a lot of muscle including several I have owned. But as life moved on, I raised a family and focused on my career. But now I’m retired and decided that I needed a project and here she is.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquirWHAT A WAY TO LIVE! ing this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows events! Myand Name is Chris Ferrall and this is my love, Violet or sometimes known as Violent depends on her mood. She is a 2022 Mischievous Purple GT California Special with the Performance Package and Magna Ride. This was the first year the Performance Package and Magna Ride were an option on the California Special. The only upgrade I did was I changed out the speakers to JBL and added a 12 inch sub in the trunk. Violet is my everyday driver and I may be in my midlife crisis but what a way to live! With a fast car, loud guitar, smoking cigars, and drinking whisky. Mustangs truly bring out your youth and make life so much more enjoyable.

mechanic, this is the first project I’ve built personally for my self, so it’s pretty cool. I can say that I have built this car from bumper to bumper. I will be doing my own body work and paint as well and then all it will need is interior. Current mods list includes a Scat 331 stroker kit, Icon pistons, AFR 185 cylinder heads, Ford Racing Lu47 injectors, full adjustable suspension, UPR tubular K member, Comp cams 1.7 rocker arms, BBK full length headers, TrickFlow stage 2 cam, and Moates quarter horse tune from Ted Jenkins at tuning innovations.
