Fordhub MN started in 2020 with a handful of us that wanted a group that was inclusive to all Fords, not just Mustangs without the emphasis on having large group numbers as the primary goal. We have a lot of very active and wonderful members that frequent most of the local shows throughout the summer. A strong suit for our membership is we create and maintain longterm and meaningful relationships that go further than just car shows. The listing stated there was a “handful of issues.” But, I still messaged them because the car was in Minnesota. I might as well look, especially when it was closer than Illinois. I went to go look at it, and as soon as it pulled into the lot, I knew this was my car. I tried to keep a straight face, not show my cards but inside though, I have never been so happy in my life. I purchased the car there and then. As I was driving home I couldn’t stop smiling. Once I parked it in the garage, I grabbed a chair and just stared. I couldn’t believe it! I purchased my dream car after waiting 20+ years and moving to a completely different state. I finally have my Fox, a 1990 Mustang GT.

We weren’t dating at the time, but I called her after I sold the Mustang and she promised if we ended up together she would buy me another one to replace the ‘96. Fast forward to 2019, I was browsing Facebook and found the Mach 1 for sale only a few blocks from our home in Inver Grove Heights, MN. We went to look at it and took it for a drive and I fell in love with it. My wife could tell immediately that I wanted the car. The next morning, as my wife had promised me, she went to the bank and took out the loan to buy the car.

growing up. I ordered custom badges for it and started

buying keychains and stuffed animals to hand out at car shows. It’s a big hit with the children and I am also surprised with how many adults also love seeing the car. The X pipe and axle back exhaust make it sound better than people expect. And of course there is the custom carbon fiber hood to make it one of a kind, as well as all the LED underglow, grille, and engine bay glow. It even also has a star light headliner in suede and color changing day time running lights and Euro tail lights which are also color changing. I’m satisfied with my car and the next goal is to save up to upgrade the engine.
