MAGAZINE

Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. Thank you Mustang fans and enjoy your ride! - Daniel Ramey, Editor-In-Chief

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!

I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.

The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!

I AM A HUGE RICHARD PETTY FAN SO THE GRABBER BLUE COLOR HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY FAVORITE.

My name is Roxanne Ubaldo-Ramirez of Charlotte, NC. I am the owner of Bloo a Grabber Blue Mustang GT Premium.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquiring this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!

My love for Mustangs began when I was 10 years old. My mom had a 1994 Bright Blue Metallic Mustang V6. I finally bought my first Mustang in 2006 at the age of 19. It was a 1999 Bright Atlantic Blue Metallic V6.

Bloo is my fourth Mustang and my dream car. I am a huge Richard Petty fan so the Grabber Blue color has always been my favorite. In March - October I enjoy attending car shows and drag races with my family and my car club the Charlotte HeadTurners.

Bloo is currently equipped with a Roush X Pipe, Roush Shorty Headers, Roush Axle Exhaust, Roush Cold Air Intake, Roush Side Skirts, Roush Lowering Springs, 18” Liquid Metal Rims, Ford Performance Hood Struts, GT 500 Upper Grille, and Ford Racing Strut Tower Brace.

Members of the STANG Mag family are more passionate about fun and inclusion than they are their cars and that says a lot! I can’t wait to see what’s to come in 2022!

DREAMZ - 2022 MACH 1

MUSTANGS JUST HAVE THIS AGGRESSIVE AND INTIMIDATING LOOK...

My passion for Mustangs started when I first saw my uncle’s green 69’ Mach 1. My uncle was my hero and he had an indescribable passion for Mustangs. The first time I heard his Mustang start, the rumble just sounded so mean and powerful. At that moment I told myself I will have my own Mustang Mach 1 just like him. My first Mustang was a 1986 Shadow Blue Mustang GT. Every time I drove that Mustang it made me feel free, untouchable, and not a care in the world. Mustangs just have this aggressive and intimidating look that makes me feel powerful and unstoppable behind the wheel.

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquir ing this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!

I joined the U.S. Army and traveled many places over the years. During my travels I owned many Mustangs, each one louder and faster but still not like my uncle’s Mach 1. In 2022 my dream came true, I found my Mach 1. I went to the dealership that day and I didn’t leave without it. Every time I get behind the wheel and hear the rumble and feel the power, it takes me back to rides in my uncle’s Mach 1. Mustangs have been and will always be a big part of me.

My Mustang is a 2022 Mach 1 and a few of my favorite mods include Cervinis Ram Air hood, Steeda air filter, Mind Transcendent wrap, and SVE X-pipe. PHOTO CRED:

I HOPE TO REACH THE CAR COMMUNITY AND INCREASE EPILEPSY AWARENESS TO OTHERS...

My partner got me this 2018 Mustang GT PP1 as a gift. I voluntarily stopped driving by choice for six years to retain the privilege to drive, never losing my license here in Oregon. In 2012 I had epilepsy and brain surgery and in 2013 and 2015 I had success stopping the seizures of 30 to 40 times a day. The surgery also removed short term memory and my fight or flight response so now speed is my thing and I have no fear. I have a deep appreciation for driving and for my Mustang.

I hope to reach the car community and increase epilepsy awareness to others with a neurological disorder. A Lot of people give up when they can not drive anymore. I hope to give others hope and to know that no matter your challenge, it can be overcome.

It is very Important to me and I love my Mustang with a passion. It is far more than just a car. I take exceptional care of it and I appreciate what I’m blessed with and never take it for granted. The privilege of owning it and driving it is something very special! I plan on being buried in it!

I have loved them since my brother got a ‘71 when I was eight and my partner made that dream come true with this car.

My name is Jake McCoy and I have had a love for Mustangs my whole life. I am also a huge Ken Block fan. As you can see, my Mustang is sporting the Hoonigan style and it has the performance and power to match!

The car’s name is Nightcrawler. It has a Roush supercharger, bigger injectors, upgraded fuel system, and is making 748 hp. It also has Eiboch Sportline 2 inch lowering springs.

The wrap is by world famous artist Cory Hitt at Royal Wraps in Conway, SC. It is also tuned by Dr. Tune in Galavants Ferry, SC.

I’VE BEEN REBUILDING IT OVER MY 20 YEARS OF MILITARY SERVICE.

This is my 1967 Mustang Coupe. I’ve gone through a million nicknames, right now it’s being called Pegasus. My name is Joshua Griffin. The car used to be my father’s. He bought it because he had one before he joined the Marines and his parents sold it when he left for service. He eventually parked it in his backyard.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. When it came time for me to serve in the Army I asked if I could have the Mustang. So the stang was passed down and I’ve been rebuilding it over my 20 years of military service. It has a 289 that I’ve built twice now. I replaced the C4 automatic transmission for a T5 manual trans. I used it as a daily driver for years and was driving it from Florida to Maryland. Now I live out west. Due to Colorado’s unpredictable weather the stang has become a weekend warrior for car shows and events.

I TRULY BELIEVE A CAR IS MORE THAN JUST A CAR YOU DRIVE...

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!

I’ll never forget the first time I fell in love with cars. I was just a little girl and my dad owned a 1986 Merkur XR4TI turbo charge complete with a dual spoiler. I remember sitting in the backseat thinking someday I’ll own a cool car just like my dad. My Mustang passion started at 21 when I got my first “cool” car, a 1998 silver Mustang. It was nothing real fancy but when I drove it I felt like a million bucks, that particular Mustang ignited a fire within me. From then on, my Mustang obsession became a lifestyle and I never wanted to drive anything else. Fast forward to now I have proudly owned four Mustangs throughout the years ranging from 1998, 2006, 2015 and my most recent 2021. My last two ponies have been yellow.

Introducing QueenB1, a 2021 Grabber Yellow EcoBoost. Although her engine doesn’t pack as big as a punch as some of the other Mustangs on the road, QueenB1’s bright color makes her stand out from all the other ponies in the stable. My Stang is a true reflection of my fierce, bold, and fun personality. I just love driving her around with the windows down listening to my favorite music. Something about driving QueenB1 makes me feel like life is one big happy highway with no cares in the world, where only the sky is the limit. In the summertime, I also enjoy going to car cruises with my dad and meeting other Mustang-loving enthusiasts.

QueenB1 has also been customized with several mods throughout. My favorite mods to name a few are the hood

racing stripes with my custom designed Queen Bee logo, Mustang side rocker stripes, Drake Muscle black out logo fuel door, GT350 style Gloss Black spoiler, and the Renegade series smoked euro tail lights. The most unique mod

I have is the MGP Grabber Yellow caliper covers with my signature Queen Bee design embossed emblem. I truly believe a car is more than just a car you drive, it is a beautiful work of art and perfect mirror of our individual personalities. My Stang obsession is more than just a passion but a lifestyle. I am beyond proud to be a Ford Mustang lady for life!

THE SIDE EXHAUST IS LIKE MUSIC AND I CAN’T GET ENOUGH.

My name is Steve Talbott and this is my 2001 Roush Stage 2 with 23,000 original miles. I call her “Raven.”

I have always had a love for Mustangs as this is my eighth one. The New Edge Mustangs have been one of my favorite, and when I found this one I knew I had to have it. The only thing that I’ve changed is gears in the rear end and wheels and tires. I boxed up the original wheels and have them stored.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. From day one, I couldn’t believe how well this this car rode and drove. The Roush suspension is incredible. This thing will take corners at almost any speed. The side exhaust is like music and I can’t get enough.

Now fast forward to May 2022. I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. I’ve decided to put some miles on the car and enjoy what is was built for. My wife and I are going to Sturgis this year for the Mustang Rally. It should be the trip of a lifetime. I hope to see some of you there!

OVER HERE MUSTANGS ARE RESPECTED...

My name is Phil Miller and I am from the UK. This is my 2018 Mustang GT. This car was a press car so it came with every factory option and in the color Orange Fury.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. Over here we like manual transmissions and the V8. The 4 cylinder models only came until 2018 then they were discontinued. We can only get the V8 now.

Fun fact, over here the side mirrors on Mustangs are larger and our tail lights have to be clear. This car had every factory option so not many upgrades other than I had the brakes painted the body color to match and added 25mm wheel spaces, had an H pipe fitted, and added a Roush body kit.

Over here Mustangs are respected and whenever it goes out people take pictures, usually at the gas station.
