BLACK BEAUTY –2020 MUSTANG GT

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!

I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.

A CAR SHOULD STIR THE SOUL WHEN YOU DRIVE IT...

I been a fan of Mustangs since childhood when the painter my dad hired drove a two tone 89 Mustang GT with dark blue on top and grey on the bottom with the turbine wheels. Later on, one of my school teachers bought a 93 Cobra in teal that was just beautiful. I wrote a letter to Ford asking if I could have any Mustang posters to hang on my bedroom wall like most kids my age and they sent me the new for 1994 Mustang GT poster. I knew one day I’d have to own a Mustang.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquiring this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!

Flash forward to 2020, my local dealer had a 2020 Mustang GT in black and the rest is history. A car should stir the soul when you drive it, make you look forward to the next drive and this car does that. If I had a long week or just need to clear my head, I fire up Black Beauty and listen to the engine and exhaust echo off the mountains on the Blue Ridge Parkway while the smile on my face grows.

Mods include 19x9.5 Avanti Rims on 255/40r19 front and 285/35r19 in the rear, Roush CAI, and C&L axle back exhaust.

The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!

Members of the STANG Mag family are more passionate about fun and inclusion than they are their cars and that says a lot! I can’t wait to see what’s to come in 2022!
