I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.

IT TOOK ME 42 YEARS, BUT I DID IT!

Since I was a little girl, I dreamed of having a Mustang. I always loved American muscle cars, and still do, but the ponies had my heart! Then, as I got older and started going to shows with my friends, I dreamed of having a car to bring to Carlisle Nationals. I was finally able to fulfill one dream in 2020 and the second in 2021. It took me 42 years, but I did it!

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquiring this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!

I decided she needed to be fancier for her debut at the 2021 Carlisle Ford Nationals, so I had her wrapped, added stripes, and made a few modifications...

Unfortunately, the guy that did the wrap, didn’t prep the car correctly and the wrap started to peel. He refused to fix it, so we had to take the wrap off and have her painted. She got painted - 4 times! 1 - The metallic flakes separated from the paint, causing tiger stripes. 2 - The car port in my driveway flew up and scratched all but the driver’s door.

3 - When I got my car back, I found too many flaws and sent her back in, so they had to shoot the whole car again!

4 - The final result! But wait ... it gets even better! Hard to believe - I know! A third dream came true in 2022 at Nationals... Regina and I placed 2nd Place!

The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!

Mods include a Stage 3 Clutch, BBK Cold Air Intake, BBK Extractor X-Chamber Mid-Pipes, Differential Gear Change, 3.73 Performance Mustang Kit for 8.8, and Positraction Differential - 8.8”.

Members of the STANG Mag family are more passionate about fun and inclusion than they are their cars and that says a lot! I can’t wait to see what’s to come in 2022!
