MORTICIA - 2016 MUSTANG GT

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!

Say It Every

I feel in love with my 2016 Competition Orange GT the moment I had seen it. It was Christmas Eve a few years ago and I had got all my holiday shopping for the family completed. After going through a strike at work the previous fall, I decided to treat myself and buy a new toy. After a small but thorough search, I found a dealership about an hour away from my home with a few Mustangs on their lot, and with that, I made the trip.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquiring this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!

I had originally been looking at a black 2016 GT with a 6-speed transmission. Upon arriving at the dealership, this bright orange spot stuck out like a sore thumb. The first glance I had, I instantly fell in love. Originally from Las Vegas, this car had made its way to Iowa and was only recently traded in then. It was clean, it was fast and loud, and it put a smile on my face from that moment on. I decided on the name Morticia based on the Addams Family’s own Morticia Addams, because it was spooky and sexy all in one beautiful package.

I now currently own four mustangs, all different body styles. My goal in life is to own a shop full of every body style that’s been produced and I’ll chip away until I make that goal a reality. The Mustang community has to be the best in world and I’ve made countless friendships because of it that are sure to last a lifetime. I say it every chance I can... If you don’t own a Mustang, you need to.

I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.

The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!

Members of the STANG Mag family are more passionate about fun and inclusion than they are their cars and that says a lot! I can’t wait to see what’s to come in
