SN95 THE NEW EDGE MAGAZINE SPECIAL EDITION HONORING OUR sPECIAL EDITION MUSTANGS
MAGAZINE
Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. Thank you Mustang fans and enjoy your ride!

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquiring this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!
I have owned this mustang for eight years with a absence of a year where I sold it and purchased it back. Started ownership from a coworker’s husband that had died in a motorcycle accident and I wanted to help her out. I built Calico the way I visioned her being. She’s one of a kind.
She has received many new parts in my ownership including an engine, all new suspension, wheels, interior, and new paint job. She may not be the year of Mustang by its popularity but she is a Mustang and that’s all that matters to me with my love of the pony car!
Mods include Pypes cat back exhaust, catless x-pipe, Steeda bump steer, SVE radiator, SVE white Saleen style rims, Ford Performance wires, Ford Performance springs, Koni orange shocks, SR cold air intake, Corbeau sport seats, rear seat delete, and more.
I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.
The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!
Members of the STANG Mag family are more passionate about fun and inclusion than they are their cars and that says a lot! I can’t wait to see what’s to come in 2022!

This is our newest addition to the stable, a 2001 Cobra Convertible #1891 in Oxford White with Dark Charcoal interior. Very original and only 49k miles.
We happened to find this at the annual Turkey Rod Run last fall ‘22. We had been hunting/searching for a super clean and original New Edge Cobra. This car is our Sunday fun car. In just seven months we have clocked over two thousand miles going from coast to coast here in Florida. Top down always!
We’ve also shown “Cleo” at the annual Mid Florida Mustang Roundup. We received 1st place Occasional Driven Class. We look forward to many more shows and sunny Sunday cruising. Fully documented from Ford / SVT.

I ONLY TAKE IT OUT ON NICE DAYS...
I bought this car in 2016 with only 68,000 miles on it. Since then I have done all the modifications listed as well as replaced the convertible top and the cylinders so it works properly. The car now currently has 95,000 miles on it but it is not a daily driver.

I only take it out on nice days to either car events or car shows. It is not driven in the winter time nor in any bad weather. It is just kept under a car cover when I am not using it.
Mods include SCT X4 tuned, 78mm TB, NGK plugs, MSD coils, cold air intake, underdrive pulleys, headers, catless X pipe, Flowmaster exhaust, 3.73 gears, and lowered 1.5” with staggered Cobra rims.

I NEVER GET TIRED OF THAT PUSHROD V8 SOUND COMING THROUGH THE FLOWMASTERS.
MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!
The SN95 Mustangs came on the scene in ‘94 with mixed feelings. There were many improvements over the ‘87-‘93 run, but the Foxbodys had a strong following and still do. Many newcomers don’t realize that the ‘94-‘95 GT and Cobra models, still had a pushrod 5.0 and were based on the same platform. Many of the things that myself and other Foxbody owners wanted, now came from the factory on the SN95s. A more solid body with less rattles, a better suspension, rear disc brakes, some retro styling features for that time, more available options, or a stripped down GTS version, the Mach 460 sound system, etc..
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. As I mentioned in the September 2024 issue, we sold my 1990 GT and bought our yellow 1995 GT with black leather interior in 1997 with very low miles. I liked the look and it reminded me of the yellow 1970 Mach 1 with black leather, that my mother owned back in the early 70s. We still own our ‘95 GT after all of these years and have made many memories with it at 1/4 mile tracks up and down the East coast, as well as numerous car shows and cruise ins, ( I have to give my wife Pamela credit for doing most of the detailing at the shows). I never get tired of that pushrod V8 sound coming through the Flowmasters. It’s good to see these SN95s becoming more appreciated for what they were. After all, they are still on a Fox platform and who doesn’t love that?
I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.
Mods include a 331 stroker with all forged internals in a Boss block, Paxton Novi 2000 supercharger, Trick Flow intake, MSD ignition, BBK/Flowmaster full exhaust from headers to tailpipes, Tremec 5-speed, Ford racing aluminum driveshaft, built rear end with Moser axles & 3.55 gear, complete upgraded fuel system, full Steeda suspension, Kenny Brown subframe connectors, Fluidyne radiator, Cobra brakes, ‘03-‘04 Cobra wheels: front 17x9 with 275 tire, rear 17x10.5 with 315 tire, and many more small items.

I STILL REMEMBER THE DAY I FOUND THIS CAR...
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I would have to say my Mustang passion and love for these cars started when I was younger back in high school around my senior year. I always loved the older Mustangs like the 60s models, the Fastbacks, GT350s and Shelby cars. The first Mustang I owned a few years back was a 1983 Foxbody Mustang LX that was a T-top car. It was an absolute blast to drive and got attention everywhere I drove it. After that, I had a couple other Mustangs and after I sold my last Foxbody is when I found ‘’Red Rage.’’
I still remember the day that I had found this car located in Ashland City, Tennessee. As soon as I found it for sale I knew that I had to have it so a friend of mine drove up with me to go pick it up and bring it back home with me. I enjoy taking it to car shows and cruise-ins and recently it placed Top 50 in a local show in my home town of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. I don’t know what it is about Mustangs but there’s just something special about rolling the windows down on a nice summer day jamming to “I can’t drive 55” by Sammy Hagar! My passion for Mustangs continues to always grow and someday I hope that my son comes to
love these cars as much as I do!

THERE WERE ONLY 340 OF THIS COMBINATION OF COBRAS EVER MADE.
I got into sportscars as a teenager and I have been hooked ever since then. There were only 340 of this combination of Cobras ever made. The car has 13k original miles on it. It’s a fun car to drive.
The car has a T56 magnum trans, a Whipple supercharger, 1 7/8 Kook LT headers, Kook 3” off road x-pipe to Borla catback type S to Borla 4” tips, Fuel return system, 80 lb. Ford Racing injectors, X2 Walboro supercar fuel pumps, Fastlane fuel rails, tuned on 90 octane and e85, tubular chromoly k member and control arms, adjustable coil overs, and much more!

This is my 2001 Bullitt called “The Turtle”. I originally went looking for a Terminator and couldn’t agree on a price but the guy had this Bullitt sitting in the back yard. It was super rough. I bought it cheap. Acid rain, flat tires, you name it, this Mustang needed help. I was going to flip it but here we are 10 years later.
I tried to make my Bullitt look like what a Bullitt would be today if we had the New Edge platform. If Steve McQueen had to drive a New Edge today, I hope he would choose mine. My son (6 yrs old) claims it as HIS Mustang.
It is equipped with a 2001 Cobra front bumper, 2001 Cobra hood with GT350 vent, 2003 Cobra rear bumper, shaved trunk lid, MMD mirrors, Carbon driven side splitters, 18 x 9 and 18 x 10 Bullitt replicas AFS, and Michelin 275/35 and 295/35-18 tires.
