Camp Annapolis at St. Anne’s S chool
This summer, St. Anne’s School of Annapolis has combined the characteristics of our long running and well loved summer camp with a few new additions to offer campers an exciting and varied day camp experience.
Registration Summer camps begin June 13th and ends August 3rd. You can register online now at St.AnnesSchool.org. A $25 deposit is required for each week at the time of registration. Refunds minus your deposit will be made if cancellations occur two weeks prior to the start of cancelled weeks.
Discounts Returning campers will receive a 5% discount. Register before March 15th for a 5% discount. Register more than one child and receive a 5% discount.
Camp Hours Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. each day until 3:00 p.m.
Before and After Care Before care begins at 7:30 a.m. n $25 per week ($5.00 per day) After care begins at 3:00 pm and ends at 6:00 pm. n $25 per week for 4:00 p.m. pick-up ($5.00 per hour) n $40 per week for a 5:00 p.m. pick-up ($4.00 per hour) n $53 per week for a 6:00 p.m. pick-up (approx. $3.50 per hour) For more information on 2012 Camp Annapolis Programs please contact Ellen Montoya, Summer Camp Director, at emontoya@St.AnnesSchool.org.

STARFISH Rising Preschool and Pre Kindergarten The Starfish programs at Camp Annapolis are designed for children ages 3 and 4, who are toilet trained. Starfish will experience exciting themed activities each week. All Starfish Plus and Starfish Plus All Day campers will attend Mini-Exploration Stations in small groups on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Register for camp online at St.AnnesSchool.org. Starfish meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m.– 12:30 p.m. FEES: $115 (Week One: $69, Week 4: $92) Starfish Plus meet Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. FEES: $180 (Week One: $108, Week 4: $144) Starfish Plus All Day meet Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., with before and after care available. Week One June 13 – June 15
Rising Kindergarten – Third Grade Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., with before and after care available. The Privateers programs at Camp Annapolis are designed for rising Kindergarten through Third Graders. Campers will primarily be placed in groups according to age, in order to ensure an enjoyable challenging experience for all children. Campers will participate in exciting themed activities each week. On Tuesday and Thursday mornings, campers will enjoy an hour of swimming at the Fishing Creek Farm Community Pool. Each week campers will have an opportunity to choose two Exploration Stations for enrichment. Campers attend Exploration Stations on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Rising Fourth – Eighth Grade
The Explorers programs at Camp Annapolis are designed for rising Fourth through Eighth Graders. Campers will primarily be placed in groups according to age, in order to ensure an enjoyable challenging experience for all children. Campers will participate in exciting themed activities each week. Students will work in small teams to compete in an interactive robotic competition taking the last afternoon of camp. Students will learn to design, build and program multiple NXT robots to communicate between each other for the team competition. Campers will go swimming Monday and Wednesday mornings. Kids work in small groups to build LEGO models and learn simple programming to control one part of the model using the LEGO WeDo Invention System. July 2-6: Stop Motion Animation Campers will create stop-motion animation shorts using constructed props or their own materials. Students are encouraged to bring in action figures and other toys to animate. Beginners will focus on planning, story-line, and stop-motion technology. Campers with stop-motion animation experience will learn more advanced techniques in design and sound. July 23-27: Hand-Drawn Animation Campers will create drawn animation shorts. Particular attention will be spent on tweening and the aspects of smooth animation. Students will draw frame-by-frame to animate abstract shapes and designs of their choosing. More advanced students can draw their own characters.
