Head of Business & Employability Fife Council

David was Leader of Fife Council from February 2014 to May 2017 having served as Depute Leader and Spokesperson for Housing and Communities since 2012

He is currently the-Leader of the Council’s Administration . He was first elected as a Councillor for Kirkcaldy North in 2007

Gordon Mole is Fife Council’s Head of Business and Employability He is the Council’s senior lead for

Employability, Economic Development, economic policy, town centres and tourism. Gordon leads on the development of Fife projects for the Edinburgh and South East Scotland and Tay Cities Region Deals

Before joining Fife, Gordon held a leadership role at Ipswich Borough Council as Head of Culture and Environment Services, managing a range of frontline operational and income generating services

He has previously led on economic development, responsible procurement and employment initiatives for major construction programmes, including London’s Shard of Glass, Heathrow Terminal 5 and Tate Modern
