The booklet “Pictures of Quarantine” is part of the project “Peacebuilding, media work and digitalization,” an international project during which young adults from Tunisia, Germany, Italy, Egypt and Morocco had the opportunity to participate in an online exchange program and to become active in an international context and aimed at bringing together people from different contexts and to promote the reduction of prejudices, and the understanding and knowledge of other cultures with the emphasis on the role of social media. Trying to understand the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic around the world, the volunteers had the chance to interview people from different social and cultural contexts with the aim of telling different stories of the lockdown period, showing how quarantine was lived and undergone in the 6 countries of which our associations and organizations are part.
