Medical/Dietary AAMA Certification Exam Review

This course is designed to prepare students to take the American Association of Medical Assistants Certification Exam for the Certified Medical Assistant. Questions, answers and rationales reflect the current knowledge and skills required of the most successful medical assistants working today. In addition, to the general, administrative and clinical knowledge required to successfully complete the CMA (AAMA) exams, the review class will provide information regarding: preparing for the exam, study skills and time management. Food Safety Person-in-Charge

The Person-in-charge in Food Protection, a Level One certification program, is a mandated training for the person-in-charge per shift of any Level I, II, III, or IV food service operation or retail food establishment licensed in the state of Ohio. The program will be offered on two different dates on the campus of Stark State College in North Canton, Ohio Instructor: M. ServSafe Manager Training

This 16-hour (two day) program is designed for foodservice operators, managers, supervisors and employees to provide training to meet the requirement for demonstration of knowledge as specified in the Ohio Administrative Code. The course covers microbiology, the flow of food through the operations, methods of preventing foodborne illness, and cleaning and sanitizing. Successful completion will lead to the ServSafe certification from the National Restaurant Association and the Ohio Department of Health Food Protection Certification. Instructor: M. FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES AHA Healthcare Provider/BLS

The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. AHA Heartsaver CPR/First Aid/AED

This classroom course trains in basic first aid, CPR, and AED skills and is designed to meet OSHA requirements. Fee includes textbook and certification card. Instructor: Staff CRN: 11396 Saturday, Date to be determined Fee: $60

Advanced Airway Module

EMT Refresher/Transition

This EMT refresher course provides theory and practical skills training and review at the EMT level and follows the objectives as listed in the Ohio Administrative Code.
