Flower Mound takes great pride in offering exciting festivities such as Independence Fest 2013 to our residents and those in surrounding communities. Independence Fest 2013 will showcase the best in live music, activities, and classic cars while spotlighting our wonderful local business community. Families, make sure you don’t miss the FREE Kid’s Zone complete with bounce houses, rock-climbing walls, games for all ages, and much more. Building upon the ideas envisioned by our founding leaders, I take great pride in representing the Town of Flower Mound at this
event. For more than 50 years, our community has grown into one of the most attractive municipalities in Dallas/Fort Worth, offering an outstanding quality of life for both residents and businesses. Program promotes active and healthy lives SENIORS IN MOTION PROGRAM OF FLOWER MOUND RECOGNIZES THE VALUE OF SENIORS’ CONTRIBUTIONS
The Seniors In Motion (SIM) Program of Flower Mound is an organization of citizens over 50 years of age which recognizes the value seniors contribute to our Town and strives to provide resources that enable the continuation of full, active, healthy, and happy lives. The Seniors In Motion Program fosters a sense of community where seniors connect with others who share similar interests; plan and implement meaningful contributions to the community; participate in opportunities for personal growth; and experience genuine caring, support, and friendship. The SIM Program is located at the Shirley Voirin Social Senior Center, 2121 Cross Timbers Road Building C. The facility is on the corner of Cross Timbers Road and Morriss Road.
