THE day was finally here, after terms of hard work, St Brigid’s story was about to be performed in Wakakirri. Wakakirri is a competition where the school performs a story to an audience. The winning performance goes through to the finals. Years 3 to 6 have worked long and hard for the preparation of the Waka-
kirri performance. They gave up their lunch and play times. In the last few weeks to the performance everyone was becoming nervous. “There were costumes, props and dance moves to prepare, we practiced long and hard and was starting to make a difference,” said Amelia Cimo, one of the earths (main character). St Brigid’s drama teacher Miss Baker chose an environmental topic
