Strength trumps all Tales of triumph, sadness and inspiration were found among a sea of purple and yellow at the weekend's Cardinia Relay for Life. The annual Cancer Council fund-raiser attracted hundreds of people who took turns circling Pakenham's Toomuc Reserve in the hope that one day, a cure for cancer would be found. Friendships were forged and fun was had during the 18-hour relay, and Star News photographer Stewart Chambers was on hand to capture all the action. Turn to page 2 for more.

Call for crossing The need for a pedestrian crossing in a booming Pakenham estate is being investigated by Cardinia Shire Council following community calls. The council is undertaking a review of Windermere Boulevard after more than 600 people signed a petition by Cardinia Lakes resident Dave Roberts, calling for upgrades to the road to allow for safe pedestrian access. The petition asks that as a matter of high priority, the council “identify and provide areas where pedestrians with access issues or prams can cross with provisions of ramps, preferably at all intersections in the road section of Windermere Boulevard between the Princes Highway and the Superior Waters
roundabout, within two months of recipient of this petition”. It also requests the shire “identify the best location and provide a safe pedestrian crossing as close as practicable to the Windermere Boulevard shops”, within six months of the petition date. Mr Roberts said currently, there was no place to walk across the road, “let alone if you’re in a wheelchair”. The local said he had raised this issue with the council 18 months ago, but it “was put in the too hard, too expensive basket”. However, following the tabling of the petition at January’s general council meeting, the council appears to have listened.
A traffic counter was placed on the road on 19 February and the council’s officers have arranged for traffic and pedestrian surveys to be undertaken and completed by April. Council staff also met with Mr Roberts onsite to discuss the situation. Cardinia Shire councillor Michael Schilling, who tabled the petition at the January meeting, said the council needed to work with locals to “determine the best possible outcome”. “This has been an ongoing issue for the local community and does need to be resolved before someone does get injured,” Cr Schilling said. Deputy Mayor Brett Owen said with the opening of the new Pakenham North East Primary School next year, it was “very timely” to
address the issue now. Despite this, Mr Roberts is not convinced a solution will be implemented before the 2019 school year. Instead, he fears traffic will only increase with future development, and also expressed concerns school traffic would spill over into the car parking for the Cardinia Lakes Shopping Centre. “I’m confident we’ll have a crossing point, but I’m not confident it will be a zebra crossing (by then),” Mr Roberts said. “Still, we’ll see how we go and keep working towards a strategy. “If I have to be that guy that stands up at every council meeting demanding answers, I will.”

Around the circle of hope In a mammoth community effort, the 2018 Cardinia Relay for Life has raised in excess of $95,000 for cancer research. The 23 and 24 February event, which attracted hundreds of participants from all walks of life, has been once again hailed a success by organisers. Cardinia Relay for Life chairman Mark Howard said the committee had banked $95,000 in proceeds and teams still had another month finalise fund-raising. "We are in our sixth year and I believe the event is getting stronger and stronger," Mr Howard said. "We have a lot of teams who repeat but it was good to see some new ones this year." Mr Howard said praise had to be given to team the Ford Fairlane and Classic Cruiser Motor
Mouths, which had raised a little over $15,000. The team's liaison officer, Di Price said it was inspiring to see the community unite with a common goal. "I grew up in Pakenham and this event has that real community feel I remember at as a kid," Ms Price said. "There are no strangers - there's always someone to talk to on the track." Relay awards went to: Highest Fund-raising Team - Ford Fairlane and Classic Cruiser Motor Mouths. Most laps - Beacon of Hope (Beaconhills) with 510 laps. Best Team Site - Best Foot Forward. Heath Hill took out the most prestigious prizethe Grand Supreme Led of the Show with her two year-old Shetland named ‘Moondara Park Whisper’. “It was a privilege to win it. Not very often does a little one win it,” said Ms Garraway who won a $200 Horseland voucher and a rug. Ms Garraway also won the Supreme Pinto award. “It’s more special because I bred her as well. There’s a great bond with us.” Horse show judge Mitch Carrigan explained all Clydesdale and the stock horses “have to a temperament to do their job, so they’ve got to be calm, sensible.” Alpacas were also a major attraction with families. Victorian Alpaca Youth Group member Bill Burnett said the event gave the opportunity for young people to build their confidence. “We’ve had some kids who had issues socially and when we’ve put them in with the alpacas and the confidence they’ve gain has just been amazing,” he said. “(It’s) helping them build a bond between them and the animal” He said the future of the Alpaca industry depended on today’s youth. “It’s training them up while some go onto into being breeders themselves, others may do this for a short period of time.” It wasn’t all about livestock with exhibitors from the art and photography section showcasing an impressive display of pastel, oil, drawing, water colour, landscape and portraiture artworks. City of Casey Cr Rex Flannery said the event was important for people from non-farming backgrounds to gain a greater understanding of agriculture. “I think it’s essential that we bring the local shows back to the community so we don’t lose the heritage of farming.”
Opening the Berwick Shows was from left, former president of the Berwick and District Agriculture and Horticulture Society Willem Boon, Member for Gembrook Brad Battin, City of Casey Cr Geoff Ablett, LAtrobe MP Jason Wood, Casey Cr Rex Flannery, Show President Melissa Hogg Marshall, Casey Cr Susan Serey, Show Committe Ann Keys, Senior vice-present Amanda Mason, Junior Vice-President Tom Gibson and Casey Cr Tim Jackson. 177917

From livestock, to cooking, crafts and vintage farming machinery - there was something for everyone during the two days of jam-packed fun at the 169th Annual Berwick Agricultural Show. Thousands of people poured into the Akoonah Park showgrounds to see dozens of exhibits last weekend. The event also featured competitions, demonstrations entertainment and food. For those wanting a taste of what life was like on the farm more than a century ago, there was a grand display of old water pumps, generators, and gasoline engines. Port Phillip’s Historical Machinery Society member Nick Fuller says it was important for children to learn about the region’s historic machinery. “These are made over a hundred years ago before they had power on the farms,” he said. “It is important to understand what people did years ago. Some kids don’t even know where milk comes from.” “Some of them (children) have never been to a farm; they don’t know what happens on a farm.” Drawing a large crowd nearby was the sheep show with the judging of short wool and long wool stud sheep. Berwick Show Society life member Mike Vallence, who has been involved in the sheep show since 1977, says it was vital that schools continued to be a part of the exhibition. “It’s great to see how many kids are here,” he said. “Without the schools running these agricultural sections then there’s nobody to take over and keep breeding sheep; that interest disappears.” The sheep show’s organiser’s Kane Hildred and his partner Bridget Lehy said there was about 160 sheep in the shed on Saturday and was passionate about giving the students from a variety schools a go. “It’s good to see them out here - these sheep are their pride and joy,” said Mr Hildred. At the cattle display, Loch farmer Noelene King proudly displayed her first prize winning Charolais beef cattle named ‘Huon Charnelle’ which took out a whopping four awards including Best Beef Inter-Bred Beef. “It’s pretty emotional. There’s a lot of effort that goes into it,” said Ms King. “They’re white so it’s cleaning them, clipping them; it’s a big thing.” She said the judges loved her cattle’s femininity: “They just said she was just so well put together.” Sixteen year-old James Barton of Mt Martha was thrilled to collect two beef cattle awards including Best Junior Handler and the Marty Alberni Herdsperson award. “It was good, especially after last night going back-to-back, that felt very good,” said James, who displayed his 23 month-old Charolais named ‘Hazledowns Miss Panache’. … BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE A few weeks back many were inspired by events at Toomuc Reserve in Pakenham. Well known sporting identity Eddie Lewis had his 45-year-old beard shaved by the equally-iconic Graham Treloar to raise money for breast cancer research as part of the Pakenham Cricket Club’s highly successful Pink Ribbon Lunch. A hard act to follow - but Cardinia Relay For Life organisers and participants did just that last Friday and Saturday. There were inspirational acts at every turn as people - young and old and from all walks of life - circled the oval for 18 hours to raise money for cancer research. Young Chairo student Danyal Diallo stepped up the pace and ran more than 100 laps over the journey, despite having a pronounced limp for the past 12 years from a hip displacement problem. He was there to help out a schoolmate whose father has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. I walked the last lap with John Carney - who has beaten prostate cancer and also had a more recent run-in with skin cancer. John was a bit sore and expecting a dressing down from his chiropractor, who recommended he give the event a miss. Those there in the wee hours would have noticed a few of the more senior members of the colourful Cancer Beating Fairies crew - Jack, Sue and John taking on the graveyard shift. Inspirational stuff all round. What a great event it is, Relay for Life - a lot of great people doing great things for others.

Taking a jab at it The Liberals have committed to deliver free flu vaccinations to children aged six-months to five-years on the back of a horror flu season in the Cardinia Shire. Locally, 104 children under five-years-old were diagnosed with the flu last year - a huge increase on the 15 cases reported the year before. Daniel Andrews’ Health Minister, Jill Hennessy, shunned the policy at the time, claiming the commitment was ‘half-baked and underfunded’ (Pakenham Gazette, 14 February) Just a few days later the Minister must have changed her mind, as the Andrews Labor Government announced it would deliver the Liberal’s commitment on free flu vaccinations. This is the right outcome for Victorian children. I hope that this will be an ongoing for the years to come and not merely a one-off, election year pledge. It is a shame that Daniel Andrews’ first instinct is to play politics and duck-shove responsibility to others rather than working in the best interest of Victorians. Business owner Khatija Halabi said other services included auditory processing assessments, hearing tests for adults, communication needs assessments, hearing aid evaluation, fitting and rehabilitation, wax management and employment screenings. "I am an independent audiologist," she explained. "This means I can choose from any product on the market to offer ethical solutions for social communication and difficulties arising from hearing disorders." What makes the business different? "I have worked in schools and with families so I have an understanding of clients outside the clinic walls," Khatija said. "I provide a holistic approach when dealing with my clients so I'm not just looking at their ears but also looking at them as individuals living in unique environments." Khatija also explained that she has received additional training in wax removal. Avalon Castle boasts spectacular gardens and is the perfect venue for a fairytale wedding.
Beautiful professional photographs capture the essence of a wedding day. With so much time spent planning and choosing photos, Cath Stocks, the creative director of Framing to a T, advises couples to have quality wedding photos printed by a photographic lab. “Your professional wedding photographer can do this for you or visit Framing to a T and we can outsource the printing to a photographic lab for you,“ Cath explained. “The quality and lasting effect of a good quality printed photo is an investment well worth the memory of your special day.“ The framing treatment is just as important as the photo itself. “At Framing to a T we carefully consider the style of the photo before making a decision on the choice of framing. For example, in a formal or casual setting we establish the couples’ preference in furnishings and interior styles along with which interior space they plan on hanging them,“ Cath explained. “Working with this information helps us arrive at a framing choice that complements your home’s interior and the photograph itself.“ She said gold frames and warmer silvers were embraced by many couples and are easy to decorate with. “They work with so many colours in the home and they hold an elegance and timeless aspect to the photo. “White or black timber frames are still very popular. ON THE COVER
BERWICK WATERS FAMILY FUN DAY A family fun day at Berwick Waters will showcase the enviable lifestyle options at Frasers Property Australia’s communities, from the latest in innovative home designs to mindfulness sessions and yoga classes. The family event on 11 March will focus on promoting healthier lifestyles and will be headlined by former Olympian and Live Life Get Active co founder Jane Flemming. There will be food and entertainment for all ages. A meet and greet with Paddington Bear, a Lego workshop, petting zoo and pony rides, roving musicians, face painters and a tiger jumping castle will be among the highlights for children. For the parents, a plethora of attractions and workshops are on offer, including tours of award winning display homes, market stalls run by Berwick Waters’ residents, cooking and home styling demonstrations and yoga and fitness sessions. The event will be staged at the Berwick Waters display village – one of the biggest in Melbourne with more than five homes from two builders on show – from 11am 3pm. Sarah Bloom, general manager – residential, Victoria, Frasers Property Australia says the event’s theme is “All the elements of a great life”, reflecting the company’s dedication to developing healthy, sustainable communities. “We want residents and the wider community to come along and have fun, connect with their neighbours and enjoy the entertainment and demonstrations on offer,” she says “But we also want to show people that when they buy a house in a Frasers Property community, and from the builders in our display village, they are accessing a
holistic, healthy and balanced lifestyle. “Frasers Property is working hard to ensure residents have everything they need for a great life. There are aspects of building a home in a new communit that people may not even think of, like: What does it mean for your exercise routine? Your social group? How is it going to change your family’s health? “We’ve considered these questions and the family fun day is all about giving people options and advice.” She says health initiatives including mindfulness education program Smiling Mind and Live Life Get Active fitness camps which not only help residents but also the broader community. “Co-founder of Live Life Get Active Jane Flemming will be on hand to talk about how the free community fitness camps are helping to transform lives,” she says “And visitors, whether child or adult, will be able to jump onto iPads for demonstrations of Smiling Mind’s
popular meditation app. There will be something for everyone. Sustainability is not just environmental, it’s about social connections and a healthy lifestyle.” The event will be held at the Berwick Waters display village on Springbrook Drive, located off Honour Avenue, Clyde North.
The Berwick Waters sales office is at 2 Viewbank Road, Clyde North, and is open daily from 11am to pm during daylight savings. Call 13 38 38 or visit www.berwickwaters.com.au for more information. ●
be enjoyed by children and adults alike. “As modern living shifts and Victorians continue to be drawn to apartment-style living out of convenience, affordability and availability, the importance of creating a shared leisure space for residents is as essential as ever,” Jarrod explained. The sizable apartments are predicted to be well received by investors, owner occupiers and first homebuyers, due to their affordable price point and the various floorplan styles on offer. As well as an array of display homes scattered in nearby regions, the Burbank Group also released Verse in 2017, a project containing 27 townhouses which sold out in 12 weeks, and will neighbour Cumulus. “The success of all Burbank projects and developments within Metro Village 3175 such as Mosaic Apartments, Forte, and most recently Verse Townhouses, can largely be credited to the increasing strength and allure of Dandenong as a destination,” says Jarrod, a point that
Greater Dandenong Mayor, Councilor Youhorn Chea seconds. “Dandenong is growing in popularity as a place to live, work, invest and visit and it is exciting to see the launch of Burbank’s latest project Cumulus. “This significant apartment development builds on the success of the recently completed Mosaic development and will add to the diversity and vibrancy of Dandenong’s residential offering,” Cr Chea said. Currently undergoing a $290 million revitalisation, Dandenong offers easy access to Melbourne, an impressive food and arts culture and a range of retail amenities, all of which make the region appealing to today’s buyers who seek affordability and a well-connected lifestyle that will only enhance with age. The apartments are expected to be complete by the close of 2020. For further information on the development, or to register your interest, contact Vish on 0433 781 226. ●

The development comprises 82 apartments across 12 storeys, the majority of which enjoy expansive views of Greater Dandenong. “As well as one and two-bedroom floorplans, Cumulus offers maisonettes which are double-storey apartments, catering to buyers who want apartment living but with extra space,” Jarrod continued. “Both the single and double-storey apartments offer light and airy interiors,

The Warrior spirit shines By Russell Bennett The West Gippsland Country Week cricket side lived up to the Warrior nickname countless times over last week, creating their own piece of history in the process. Exceptionally led by inspirational skipper Dom Paynter and supported all the way by the likes of team manager Phil Anning, Matt Finch, Les Jones and Robert Dennis, the 13man playing group became the first in the history of the West Gippsland Cricket Association to win through to the VCCL Melbourne Country Week's top tier - Provincial. It's a feat that would have seemed impossible to many on the outside just over a year ago, with the Warriors then about to embark on yet another campaign in Division 3. But the seeds sowed in last year's successful campaign sprung to life this time around in a team that truly put the WGCA on the statewide map - as one of Victoria's top eight country leagues. No longer should the West Gippsland Cricket Association be considered as some smalltime minnow. Starting next season, they'll be going head-to-head with some of the most reputable country cricket leagues in the state - and they'll be confident they can push them all the way. The Warriors got off to a horror start on day one of their Division 2 journey last Monday - seemingly dominated on an inconsistent wicket by Bendigo. But they didn't bow their heads - instead digging their heels in and showing they were up for the fight. They went on a three-game winning streak against the South West in Ivanhoe, Sunraysia at Greenvale, and Shepparton at Essendon's spiritual home, Windy Hill, that took them to Friday's final and secured them a birth in Provincial next year. They even then had a very

If not for their opposition's superb batting depth, it could have been Paynter's main holding that trophy aloft at the iconic Albert Ground. The week was littered with star turns by the Warriors - 118 runs at an average of 59 from Paynter to go along with seven wickets and
some all-around brilliance in the field; 158 runs from Rob Elston including an unbeaten 80 in the final; and 115 runs and 14 wickets by Kooweerup star Mark Cooper. But everyone played their role - from top to bottom. This year's WGCA Country Week squad included: Captain Dom Paynter (Pakenham), Mark Cooper (Kooweerup), Rob Elston (Pakenham), Tom Hussey (Tooradin), Chris Bright
(Kooweerup), Kallan Braid-Ball (Cardinia), Mitch Cammarano (Kooweerup), Tyler Clark (Officer), Josh Lownds (Tooradin), Troy McDermott (Pakenham), Nick Sadler (Clyde), Tom Tyrrell (Pakenham), and Jason Williams (Pakenham). "We want to develop our players and keep kids connected to football." Mr Byrne welcomed Parklea's commitment to junior sport in the rapidly growing Officer region. "We are excited to have Parklea on board as naming rights sponsor," Mr Byrne said. "As a sponsor they can see the value in what we do and want to be involved with strengthening community sport." Parklea marketing and sales manger Jarod Mills said Parklea was delighted to be on board with the academy. "We are committed to giving back to the communities which surround our developments and helping young children excel in sport and keep active is something we want to encourage. We hope that providing the resources for these additional skill programs may help a number of young kids prosper," Mr Mills said. Mr Byrne hopes that in future years the academy will be rolled out to the entire junior club. Officer has the largest Auskick program in the region. "We are quite ambitious. We are starting small with around 130 participants but we are giving ourselves a minimum of three years to build on that start. We hope to continue the academy indefinitely. "We consider ourselves a suburban club with a country mentality."

In a first for the Casey Cardinia region, the Parklea Junior Football Academy is taking junior football to the next level. More than 130 junior players from the Officer Kangaroos participated in the inaugural academy, an intense coaching program held in February. President Chris Byrne said the club had made a three year commitment to the academy, which is run in conjunction with Dynamic Footy Skills, an accredited AFL coaching provider. Highly qualified coaches worked intensely with the club's under 11 through to under 17 players as well as the Kangaroo's team of coaches. "The Parklea Junior Football Academy is a big investment in our coach development," Mr Byrne said. "All our coaches have been through the program. We are modernising the way we coach. Instead of just a basic course it's a whole coaching philosophy." Thanks to the academy, the Officer Kangaroos are also investing in its junior players. "The academy gives our top footballers the opportunity to develop their skills and be a lot more successful at that elite level," Mr Byrne explained. "For our mid-range and struggling players, it will develop their skills as well and encourage them to be excited about playing football. "It's high intensity but it's also fun.

Bowls royalty visits Lions Lawn bowls royalty was present at Pakenham Bowls Club on Tuesday last week when current Australian national coach Steve 'Biscuits' Glasson, OAM, and the 'Queen of the Greens' Karen Murphy dropped in to visit. The club was also fortunate to have Cardinia Shire Mayor Collin Ross in the clubrooms to join president Terry McRedmond in formally welcoming the talented pair. Between them, Glasson and Murphy have an enormous amount of experience and know more than a little about the game of bowls. Glasson was the first Australian to be World number one in men's singles and has numerous other international medals in his trophy cabinet, along with 20 Australian championships. Murphy is possibly the best female player of all-time and has back-to-back World singles titles to her name, together with many Commonwealth Games medals - including gold - and a long list of other titles and achievements. Both guests settled in for an informal chat with the assembled Pakenham members and were more than happy to answer questions and provide advice on topics such as training techniques, choice of bowls, and adapting to a variety of playing conditions. Of course there was also the odd amusing anecdote including references to some of the other big personalities in the Australian squad. They also spoke of their experiences playing for Australia. Murphy may have travelled the world playing her chosen sport, but she's obviously still a country girl at heart and she was quite at home in Pakenham. Unfortunately she couldn't make herself available for Pennant on Saturday - something to do with a prior commitment. When asked what was the pinnacle of her stellar career so far, she didn't have to think about it - the immediate response was winning gold for Australia on home soil in front

That night she was still so pumped up and full of adrenalin that she felt capable of power lifting a car - a big statement for one so diminutive! It is hoped that she can experience those
emotions yet again on the Gold Coast in a little over a month's time. Unfortunately Glasson and Murphy's time was limited, however they did make themselves available for photo opportunities and a number of members made the most of the
King crowned the Top Gun at Garfield GARFIELD GOLF It was a very warm and muggy start for Saturday’s competitions, which featured both the men’s and ladies’ 2018 Top Gun Finals. A field of 19 did battle for the men’s crown with Peter King and previous winner Imre Nagy coming down the last and King holding his nerve best to be crowned this year’s champion. The ladies field of nine teed off on the 10th hole at 1pm with Chris Caig doing enough to take home the ladies title. For everyone else not engaged in these events it was a game of single Stableford. Sepp Krummenacher had a day out with a great score of 43 points, playing off his handicap of 25, to take out victory for the C Grade event. Best in for the day for the major grade was Marcus Crossley with a winning score of 37 points, playing off his handicap of 14. Greg Macklin won the B Grade event with a score of 41 points, playing off his mark of 17. A great score of 39 points was required to win a ball down the line. A total of 21 players out of the field of 65 were able to play to their handicap
or better. A field of 45 did battle on Thursday with the best score recorded by a very much in-form golfer, Graeme Martin, with a score of 40 points, just the one point in advance of Tony Power with Nick Gaal a further point back in third place for the B Grade event. Charlie Barnes won the A Grade event with a score of 39 points, playing off his mark of 16, while Mick Neylan and Peter Skinner finished tied for second a further two points adrift. They took the long trip to Hampton and won 83-69. John Van Vugt skipped for Dennis Patmore, lead, Gunter Baumbach, second, and Simon Koning, third. They got away to a good start and were never troubled in a 23-13 win. Bryan Stevens with Marion Stevens, Patricia Hutchinson and Len Judge also started well and kept their lead all day to win with the same score, 23-13. Skipper Phil Wynd skipped for Cliff Heath, Gary Salomons and Graeme Taylor. They led early and were up 18 to eight after 12 ends but fell away in the run home to lose a close one, 22-20. Skipper Bill Hite with Donny Gibson, Bill Tippelt and Mick Knight had a slow start and were down 8-1 after seven ends. They fought back and put their noses in front at the 18th end but finally lost 21-17. A feature of this game was playing against Brian Stynes, the father of the pakenhamnews.starcommunity.com.au
late, great AFL star, Jim Stynes. The 12-a-side Saturday team hosted the Noble Park Club and held on to win 66-60. They also consolidated their place in the top four by moving into third place on the ladder. The big winner was Skipper John Carr, with Ian Smith, Bryan Anderson and Tom Gogan. They jumped out of the blocks and scored a six and a seven to lead 27-5 after 14 ends. They got a scare when they lost 11 shots over the next five ends, but finished with a five and a four to win 36-16 and save the day for the club. John Hutchinson skipped for Ric Smart, Doug Eastick and Ron Wakefield. They were down early but a good middle section saw them win 21-15. Dennis Smith with Christine Patmore, Alan Copley and Brian Byrne had a bad day and never recovered from being down 16-0 after six ends. They battled on but lost 29-9. The Midweek Division 2 side went to Hampton Park and lost a close one, 54-51. They were actually in front coming into the last end but couldn’t hang on. Phil Wynd skipped for Jill Naylor, Dennis Stephenson and Ray Naylor.
They had a close game and narrowly hung on to the lead all day to win the close one, 19-18. The other winner was the rink of skipper John Van Vugt with Alan Copley, Graeme Taylor and Gunter Baumbach. They led early and were then pegged back but scraped home, 16-13. The rink of David Blake with Donny Gibson, Bill Tippelt and Bill Hite was down 22-8 after 17 ends but two singles and a six on the run home kept it to a 23-16 loss. The Midweek Division 3 side was at home to Berwick and won only one rink in a 75-53 loss. The rink of skipper John Carr with Marie Stephenson, Dennis Patmore and Tom Gogan was the winner. They had a close game but held on and finished well to win 20-14. John Bacon skipped for Brian Byrne, Bryan Anderson and Jenny Edmonds. They led early but gave away too many multiple scores and lost 26-18. Bryan Stevens skipped for Judy Wynd, Doug Eastick and Mick Knight. They were in the game, 17-14 after 15 ends, but lost badly in the run home to lose 35-15.
chance, although strangely there were no selfies. Club personality Gary Crowley was particularly keen to get a photo with Murphy. It seems that he is beginning to get a collection of shots of himself with the little Aussie champion.
