Cove Theater featuring Lyla Anderson, Cali Klaverkamp, Elise Schroeder, Clare Schroeder, Celia Theis and Lydia Theis, First through fifth grades

What will you be performing?

“It’s a Hard Knock Life” from the musical “Annie.”

What is your favorite thing about what you are performing? Our favorite things are working together, being with friends and living in the same neighborhood to practice together.

Why did you choose this act to perform? Some of us did a GREAT Theatre play last summer and wanted to show other people, so we started practicing the play with neighbors in our backyards.

How long have you been acting, singing and dancing? Since August 2022.

What are you most excited for? We are excited to be able to share our talents.

Upcoming Auctions

What are you most nervous about? We are most nervous about the crowd, forgetting lines and keeping our speed with the music.

Aunna MaRae Jackson , Freshman

What will you be performing? I will be performing “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri.

What is your favorite thing about what you are performing? The song gives me a feeling that I can’t explain in words.

Why did you choose to perform this act? I chose this act because I have grown up singing since I was little, and it is my dream to be a singer one day. The mean comments I get make me strive more for my crazy, exciting dream.

Ava Kummet and Lily Rogholt, Junior and senior, respectively

What will you be performing? “How To Train Your Dragon Medley” as a flute duet.

What is your favorite thing about what you are performing? The second section, “Flying With Mother,” and playing our triplets. We also love our blending moments.

Why did you choose this act to perform? We both love the “How To Train Your Dragon” franchise and the music that comes with it.

What other activities are you involved in? People in our group are in activities such as softball, basketball, gymnastics, karate, choir, plays and other fun activities.

How long have you been singing? I have been singing since I can remember but started getting serious when I moved here in seventh grade. I have performed at other events like Juneteenth, Ebony Night and Minnesota Sings.

What are you most excited for? I’m most excited to see how people react to how the song goes.

What are you most nervous about? I’m most nervous about the negative reactions and how many people are going to be there.

What other activities are you involved in? I’m involved in track and field.

How long have you been playing the flute? Lily has been playing the flute for seven years, and Ava has been playing for nine years.

What are you most excited for? We are excited to perform our favorite duet for an audience.

What are you most nervous about? We are nervous to actually perform.

What other activities are you involved in? Lily and Ava are both in knowledge bowl, Link Crew, marching band, and knit and crochet club. Lily has been involved in swimming and been on the crew for school theater performances.

Sophia Smith, Sophomore

What will you be performing? I’ll be singing “Easy On Me” by Adele.

What is your favorite thing about what you are performing? My favorite thing is that I’ll be able to share something I’ve loved doing since the age of 5.

Why did you choose this act to perform? I chose to perform this because it’s fun, so why not.

How long have you been singing? I’ve been singing since before I can remember.

What are you most excited for? I’m most excited about showing my family, mostly my older cousin Tyler, because he’s never seen me truly perform.

What are you most nervous about? I’m most nervous about a lot of people watching me at once.

What other activities are you involved in? I play softball.
