SRRHS students enchanted with prom

Over 500 students took to the commons of the Sauk Rapids-Rice High School after hours April 29 as the school hosted its annual prom.

The theme of the evening was Enchanted Forest, and tulle, white lights and decorations of trees and greenery brought charm to the event. A student committee and advisers, Joleen Koopman and Christie Prosser, coordinated this year’s prom.

Grand march took place in a portion of the school’s main gym, beginning at 7 p.m. Following the display of gowns and apparel – and plenty of photo opportunities – students danced until 11 p.m.

For those who were unable to attend, a livestream of grand march can be viewed by searching “Sauk Rapids-Rice Prom Grand March” on YouTube.
