229th Judicial District Attorney’s Office invites the community to the 11th Annual Tree of Angels Lighting Ceremony

The 229th Judicial District Attorney’s Office invites the Starr County community to a heartfelt evening honoring victims of violent crime at the 11th Annual Tree of Angels Lighting Ceremony.

This meaningful event provides a chance for families, friends, and the community to unite in remembrance of lives forever impacted by violence. We encourage family and friends of victims to bring a special ornament to place on the tree in honor of their loved ones. For your convenience, angel ornaments will also be available

at the ceremony. The evening’s highlights include:

• The heartfelt dedication and lighting of the Tree of Angels.

• A collective moment as families, survivors, law enforcement, victim advocates, community leaders, and members come together to adorn the tree with angel ornaments.

The 229th Judicial District Attorney’s Office extend a warm invitation to all of the local, state and federal law enforcement partners, victim services agencies, community leaders, and community members to join this special event.

For those unable to join us on the night of the ceremony, the Tree of Angels will remain on display throughout the month of December, providing an opportunity to honor and remember your loved ones.

For more information, please contact the District Attorney’s Office – Victim Services Team at 956-476-8109.

Let us come together as a community to support one another and honor the memory of all those we have lost to violent crime.
