put in place procedures to collect fines to help our county financially while providing compassionate, considerate and fair - but strong justice! As an attorney, I have always provided pro-bono services to those in need - especially women and children. You know me, and know I have been a generous contributor to scholarships and student organizations throughout our county! I feel it is important to aid and support the education of our children; for that reason, I help sponsor and coach little league teams around the county. For over 20 years, I have provided yearly scholarships to local graduating high school seniors and contributed to student organizations. My Starr County roots run
deep... and my family tree has strong branches! I am proud to be a Munoz from San Julian, an Escobar from Escobares, a Soza from Garceno and a Rodriguez from El Sauz. My father, Israel Rodriguez, served you as a law enforcement officer and as an elected official in Starr County. Both my Dad and Mom, Herlinda Rodriguez, instilled in me values and taught me skills such as honor, integrity, courage, hard work, ethics and civic and professional responsibility. With your help and support, I will be a full-time Judge and, like you, I want a court that is open to the public and earn the respect of our community!”

RGV’s Best Summer Track Team Members Received Board Recognition
On Tuesday, September 5, 2017, Revive Fort Ringgold hosted the 50th Anniversary of Hurricane Beulah Commemoration at the Lee House from 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. and provided refreshments for their visitors. Students from Ringgold Elementary were given a tour of the Hurricane Beulah 50th Anniversary signs that were donated by local businesses. Students were informed about the Hurricane and the devastating impact it had in our community 50 years ago. The lesson was tied to the current devastation and impact that current Hurricane Harvey has had on the State of Texas. Students were also told that President Lyndon B. Johnson visited Fort Ringgold to assess the damage of Hurricane Beulah just like our current President Trump visited Texas to assess the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. The informational signs with pictures on Hurricane Beulah can be located on the Fort Ringgold Parade Field and the Ramiro Villegas Gym. OPEN MON-SUN 7AM-7PM
