Celebrate Starr’s 71st Birthday in Myrtle Beach! Join Starr friends and family for our annual Starr Birthday Bash getaway! We’re off to the beach to celebrate with new friends and past Starr travelers on an exciting vacation that’s shore to please! Days One & Two: Sunday is departure day as we head south. Our first overnight is at a comfortable North Carolina hotel. You’ll have a chance to meet your fellow travelers over dinner on own at a local restaurant. Monday we’ll board our motor coach to continue south, arriving in Myrtle Beach by lunchtime. We’ll have time at Broadway at the Beach for lunch and shopping at Broadway at the Beach their many unique specialty shops with treasures you won’t find in your average mall. This afternoon Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, Photo by James Willamor we’ll check into our resort hotel where every room is a suite with an ocean view! Our first evening in Myrtle Beach offers the ultimate evening of food and entertainment with a Birthday Dinner at the Giant Crab, a huge seafood buffet where we’ll dine on the freshest, best-tasting seafood in town. Then, we’re off to experience the award-winning cast of “Legends In Concert” featuring accomplished tribute artists, talented singers and dancers, and a rockin’ band. Day Three: Our third day starts with a visit to Brookgreen Gardens, a National Historic Landmark. Marvel at centuries-old live oak trees, view national art exhibits, explore rich historical sites, and visit the Native Wildlife Zoo. A boxed lunch is included. This afternoon we’ll have free time at our resort to do as we please; explore nearby shops, relax on the beach, or sit out on the balcony and listen to the ocean.
