START Treatment & Recovery Centers

START (formerly the Addiction Research & Treatment Corporation) began treating patients in a single building at 937 Fulton Street in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, and is now one of New York State's largest non-hospital providers of addiction and mental health services. For more than 45 years, START has offered treatment to over 40,000 self-referred patients throughout Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx.
