NATION as a tribute to her parents. B.T.R. actually stands for “be BOLD, TENACIOUS & RESILIENT,” their personal mantra. When Ashley’s parents were diagnosed with rare forms of stage 5 cancer, she became their primary caretaker. She quickly became disgusted by the grab-and-go snack options in hospital vending machines – high in sugar, ingredients you couldn’t pronounce, no functionality. So she took to the kitchen to create her own. That’s how the idea for B.T.R. NATION was born.

They have a new product line launching in October (tackling a new part of the vending machine!) and they’re launching into more and more retail doors every month – helping the whole world snack on purpose, one delicious bite at a time.
