Mayors message It is my great pleasure to once again welcome the WRICA Careers Expo to Wyndham. We’re very lucky to have an event of this size and quality held locally every year to help young people make important decisions regarding the kind of work they want to do, and how to get themselves the training, apprenticeships and education they need to get their dream career. Moving from school to further education, training and employment is an exciting time in anyone’s life, but it can also be daunting if you don’t have the information you need to make the right choices. This event is the third largest event of its type in Victoria and Wyndham City is proud to provide support and funding. Wyndham City also plays a role in attracting new business investment into Wyndham, which can lead more local job creation and is actively involved in the WynBay Local Learning and Employment Network, which helps Wyndham’s young people access employment and works with providers to run employment and training programs for young people. I’d like to congratulate Wyndham Hobsons Bay Careers Association for running this careers expo over the last 16 years and wish them the best of luck with this year’s event.

The largest Careers Expo in the West, the WRICA Careers Expo provides an opportunity for students and people in the community to research and receive quality information regarding employment, apprenticeships, traineeships, industry, TAFES, Universities, Government organisations and Private Providers under the one roof.
