Maryland Global Gateway Program The Maryland Global Gateway Program is a first-of-its-kind soft landing program targeted at international companies looking to explore the U.S. market. Through partnerships with one of the 20 participating business incubators and accelerators across Maryland, the first 50 eligible companies can receive incentives to reduce the costs associated with exploring a new market.

Program benefits: • •

Funding towards rent costs for up to six months Assistance with business registration costs for foreign companies who choose to stay in Maryland

Training, mentoring, matchmaking, and networking through both state government and local incubator programs

Steps for interested companies: 1. Learn more about the program and apply online at commerce.maryland.gov/softlanding 2. Eligible companies will work with a specialist from the Maryland Department of Commerce to identify and connect with a Global Gateway partner 3. Once an agreement is reached between a company and a Global Gateway partner, the company can receive the full benefits of their partner organization, including the Global Gateway funding
