Is there anything else that you would like to share about your special day? We were so honored by the presence of many wonderful friends and family that helped celebrate our special day. Our parents, friends, and family showed us unconditional love and support throughout the entire wedding process. During the ceremony, my father, Dess Smith, sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and my aunt, Anna Kate Willoughby, sang “Make You Feel My Love.” Pratt’s cousin, Robert Lovett, read I Corinthians 13: 4-13. The cake knife used to cut the wedding cake was hand made by Pratt’s father, Harry Mathews. The knife was hand engraved and had an ivory handle. Another special feature at the reception was a wedding beer Pratt created and brewed. The beer was a kettle-soured saison, and it had a red hue from all of the strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries that were used during the brewing process. It was delicious!
