NEW YORK

If your students can make it here, then they can make it anywhere. Never one to miss a beat when it comes to the world of art, design and fashion. Students will bask in hipster influence and ground-breaking design, easily spotted on every pavement, street corner and building they care to look at.

Itinerary Day 1 Fly to New York and transfer to your accommodation. In the

afternoon, check out the best view of Manhattan from the top of the Empire State Building. Next stop is Macy’s department store where students will enjoy a guided tour to service their fashionista needs.

Day 2 In the morning, inspire your students with a visit to the Museum of

Modern Art and the Guggenheim Museum. In the evening you and your group will go supersize as you sample stateside cuisine.

Day 3 Start the day by enjoying a Brooklyn graffiti and street art tour,

MILAN

Milan has every other city looking green eyed, with its oh-so-chic artistic flare, grand portfolio of architecture and effortless shop windows. Oozing elegance and poise, we could all do with being a little more like Milan. *Sighs*

Itinerary Day 1 Once acquainted with the city, your students will ease into the

flow of things with a trip to the Palazzo Reale of Contemporary Art. They’ll need something to soak up all that inspiration with, that’s why we recommend a pizza-making and tasting session. *Drools in Italian*

Day 2 Your students will be rising early to see the famous ‘Last Supper’

painting and other famous artwork at the Santa Maria delle Grazie. Afterwards your group will be heading to the Pinacoteca di Brera. In the afternoon, your local guide will take your students to a secluded spot in the city to practise sketching and gather inspiration. Then, who could resist another meal when the food is this good?

Day 3 The shops are calling! Students today will witness where old

collides with new, in the form of Gallerie Vittoria Emmanuele, Italy’s oldest active shopping mall and a grand expression of architecture. Students will enjoy some free time to spend, spend, spend, before catching their evening flight home.

BERLIN

HIGHLIGHTS:

This city has thrown away the rule book when it comes to what is and isn’t art. Forget using a canvas, the city streets will do! Berlin has pulled inspiration from almost every avenue: pop culture, grunge, mods and even rock and roll, there is no such thing as too creative – just narrow-mindedness.

Itinerary Day 1 Land in Berlin and transfer to your accommodation. Once settled, you and your group can head out on a walking tour of key cultural hotspots such as Checkpoint Charlie, The Fernsehturm and Brandenburg Gate. End the day with a trip to Alte National Gallery and check out the vast collection of Romantic, Neoclassical and Modernist artworks. Your group will then digest the sites over some local cuisine on their first evening meal.

BARCELONA

When your students aren’t distracted by tantalising tapas, they’ll be off discovering a city where gothic corners harbour all forms of inspiration. It’s here that streets celebrate colourful features of self-expression, the perfect place for students’ imaginations to run wild! HIGHLIGHTS:

Itinerary Day 1 Depart from your local UK airport and arrive in Barcelona in good

time. Visit Salvador Dalí’s house, explore his off-the-wall pieces and enjoy some sketching time. Your group will have time to take in the scenes of the charming Gothic Quarter before their evening meal.

VENICE

This maze of canals is relentless in gracing the imagination of almost every famous artist, and has managed to rescue those in the deepest depths of writer’s block. It’s near impossible not to fall in love, so students shouldn’t bother fighting it. HIGHLIGHTS:

Itinerary Day 1 Start the trip with a visit to Galleria dell’Accademia where your

Overlooking the Grand Canal, this is the perfect spot for some last-minute sketching. In the afternoon, your group will have a chance to enjoy some free time and do some souvenir shopping before heading home.
