Language! Tongues will be wagging on our language trips, not that your students need more to talk about. They’ll kiss goodbye to their mother tongue, it’s all things foreign from here on out.


BERLIN

Pigeonholed as the harshest of the MFLs, your students will see the softer side to the language with a trip to Berlin. They’ll appreciate the formation and evolution of the dialect as they unearth the city’s little-known gems.

Itinerary Day 1 Land in Berlin and transfer to your accommodation. Students can practise their German by introducing themselves to accommodation staff. In the afternoon, they will enjoy a walking tour where you can opt for a German or English-speaking guide, depending on the language levels of your students.

Day 2 In the morning, the group will embark on a Spree River Cruise, the

best way to spot the old and new the city has to offer. In the afternoon, students will have a German lesson with a local teacher which will let them practise their skills in small groups. In the evening, you’ll all enjoy a meal and a chance to review what was learned during the day.

Day 3 A trip to Berlin wouldn’t be complete without a spot of history.

Students can explore exhibits at the Berlin Wall Memorial, DDR Museum and Checkpoint Charlie Museum. For a real challenge, students can listen to the audiobooks in German. Later on, transfer to the airport to catch your evening flight home.

PERU A quirky alternative for aspirational Spanish students. If you’re looking for something a little different to mainland Spain, then we suggest venturing to Latin America.

Itinerary Day 1 After the flight, your students will land in Lima and transfer to

your accommodation. In the afternoon, you and your students will tour the city and explore the Larco Herrera Museum. Although your local guide will speak excellent English, we recommend your students only speak Spanish during their trip. Your guide will take students through the history of the city, before settling everyone down for a bite at a local restaurant, where they only take orders in Spanish! A good opportunity to practise.

groups to master local phrases and put their learning into context. They’ll then enjoy a guided tour of the Island of Palomino, followed by a visit to the district of Barranco and the Museum Pedro de Osma in the afternoon.

Day 3 Today, students will visit the ancient Sacred Valley. Stopping off at Awanakancha, students will see local wildlife in their natural habitat before checking out the Pisaq Market.

Day 4 Transfer to a local village to meet the locals and learn about their culture - a great opportunity for your students to practise their language skills with others.

Day 5 Surely a highlight! Transfer from the village and hop on the

expedition train to Machu Picchu to explore the wonder on a guided tour. Your guide will talk you through the history and offer hiking advice.

Day 6 Enjoy a walking tour of the San Blas District and Casa Concha,

where ancient artefacts from Machu Picchu are displayed. In the afternoon, the group will have a Spanish lesson with a local teacher to polish the skills they’ve picked up on their trip.

Day 7 This morning, students will head out to a local market to gather

food for their final breakfast. Get students practising their skills by bartering in Spanish. Their final day in Peru wouldn’t be complete without one last Spanish lesson to round off the trip. After a full day, you’ll transfer to the airport for your homebound flight.

PARIS

Bonjour! It’s the chicest city on earth calling. Students can discover their artistic side in the shade of the Eiffel Tower and discover their appetite in the many boulangeries. And we guess it’s an alright place to practice your French as well.

start their time in Paris with a walking tour, there is the option to have this in French or English depending on the ability of your students. In the evening, your students will enjoy their first meal together. before creating their own scent at the Musée de Parfum. In the afternoon, they’ll enjoy a Paris Theatre performance - a beautiful display of dance and music. English subtitles are available and a meet and greet can be organised.

Day 3 What language trip would be complete without a trip to the

Eiffel Tower? Students will scale the 1,710 steps to the top for the best views of the whole city. After lunch, students will have a French lesson with a local teacher, giving them the opportunity to practise their skills in small groups. In the evening, enjoy a group meal and take the time to discuss the day’s learnings. Transfer to the airport tonight and catch an evening flight home.

MADRID

Go MAD for Madrid. Where better to be soaking it all up like a sponge than on the mainland of Spain? Don’t be surprised if they come back pro flamenco dancers or tapas connoisseurs.

In the afternoon, it’s more sightseeing and language practise at the Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, Museo ThyssenBornemisza and Palacio Real. Practice your Spanish skills over some tasty tapas that evening.

Day 3 On the morning of their final day your students will be heading to a local food market, where they will be ordering breakfast from local vendors using all the Spanish vocab they have learnt on their trip. Following that, you can all enjoy some well-deserved free time before transferring to the airport and heading home.

BARCELONA

A buzzing culture capital where tapas, dancing and friendly locals spill from the streets and right into your heart. Students will pick up local phrases as they get their daily dose of culture.

Itinerary Day 1 Land in Barcelona and head out for the afternoon, making a splash at PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park. Later, tell the group to grab their dancing shoes for a flamenco dancing class. During your stay, challenge your students to only speak Spanish to the locals.

Day 2 In the morning, enjoy a local cooking lesson with Spanish-only

instructions - a real test for your group’s concentration levels! Once filled to the brim with local cuisine, students will then have Spanish lessons in small groups, giving them a chance to practise their learnings on a local. You can even opt to pair up students with locals from a school in Barcelona who will be perfectly matched to their own language ability.

Day 3 On their final day, explore the tourist hotspots on a walking

tour. Checking off the biggest names: Sagrada Família and other Gaudi landmarks, as well as the Olympic Port and Ring. Your students will enjoy some free time in the city before transferring to the airport to catch their flight home.
