A H H S H U C K S , S OM EONE H A D A B I RTHDAY! Yep, this year, we turned 40. We know, right? Exploring really is the elixir of life. Which means it was 40 years ago since our flare-wearing forefathers, inspired by their own far-flung adventures, founded STA Travel with one mission: to create affordable adventures for awesome humans. Since then, we’ve grown from two backpackers into the world’s largest student and youth travel company, inspiring over 2 million travellers a year to discover the world. We’ve crossed borders to push boundaries, walked unfamiliar paths to find new friends, and got lost to discover the places we love. A lot may have changed over the years. (Google Maps has certainly helped, thank you Google + travel gods). But our philosophy never has. We’re still the only place to #StartTheAdventure. And now, with this brochure, it’s your turn.
