ANTONIAN HONORS PROGRAM
ENRICH YOUR ST. CATHERINE UNIVERSITY EXPERIENCE
The Antonian Honors Program fosters intellectually stimulating and supportive relationships with peers and faculty, giving you the opportunity to push yourself as a learner and leader. The program includes four interdisciplinary honors seminars on topics of interest, and culminates with the presentation of original research or creative work during your senior year.
An invitation to the Antonian Honors Program is extended to high-achieving, incoming College for Women students based on high school transcripts, or to first-year students at St. Kate’s with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5.

DEAN’S LIST: Students who achieve a GPA of 3.667 or higher while taking at least 12 credits.
LATIN HONORS: Awarded when all graduation requirements are completed and based on your final cumulative GPA – 3.667 (cum laude), 3.8 (magna cum laude), and 3.9 (summa cum laude).

DIVE INTO A WORLD OF RELEVANT AND INTERESTING TOPICS
Honors Seminar Courses
Honors seminars are interdisciplinary and team taught. Previous topics have included:
• In the Church and In the Streets: Music that Shapes the Soul and Rocks the World
• “Let’s Start with the Body!”: Feminist Ways of Knowing
• Decolonizing Art and Religion in Spain and the Americas: Resistance, Reparations, and Repair
• Mni Sota Makoce and Settler Colonialism: Communication and Theological Perspectives
Senior Project
Your senior honors project is a major piece of research or creative work that you will publicly present your final year and can align with your professional goals. Projects may be related to your major field or across multiple disciplines. Past projects have included:
• Original plays
• Performance art
• Original children’s books
• Websites
• In-depth research on topics such as childbirth in the West, empathy and facial expressions, and teaching methods for the Deaf
