About the Program St. Catherine University advances women who thrive as business leaders. In our online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, you’ll learn in an environment that fosters collaboration rather than competition, combines academic excellence with practical skills, and focuses on your career success. Grounded in St. Catherine’s more than 100 years of experience preparing women to lead and influence, our MBA is designed to help you take your place in the business world. You will be mentored by faculty members with extensive business experience. You’ll gain real-world skills through experiential learning projects and a capstone course, working in teams to develop business plans for actual clients. Our online MBA provides women the opportunity to have their voices heard, share ideas, and become confident leaders. It’s an approach that benefits everyone – students of all genders are welcome to enroll. Our Curriculum Start in the fall, spring or summer terms and complete the 33-credit* MBA in an accelerated 12month plan. You can also create an extended plan of study with your advisor, and complete the program at your own pace. Courses meet year-round with two seven-week sessions in each term. We offer concentrations in healthcare and strategic management. All courses are offered fully online in an asynchronous format, making it possible for you to access high-quality MBA learning while working full-time. Management Essentials* If you’ve earned a bachelor’s degree in an area other than business, you’ll start the program with a three-credit Management Essentials course (*and complete 36 credits for the MBA degree). This course provides you with essential business knowledge to lay the foundation for your success. Tuition and Fees The 2024–25 tuition rate for the MBA degree is $715 per credit. Additional costs include fees for student services and technology ($330 per term) and books (prices vary by course). How to Apply Application deadlines: August 1 (Fall), December 15 (Spring) and May 1 (Summer). Applications received after the deadline will be considered on a space-available basis. To be eligible for admission, applicants must have: • A bachelor’s or graduate degree from an institution accredited by a nationally recognized, regional accrediting association. • A minimum of two years of professional work experience. The MBA application process requires the following: • • • •

Official transcripts from degree-granting institutions (bachelor’s; graduate if applicable) Explanatory statement (if cumulative GPA is below 3.0) Official scores from TOEFL or IELTS (if native language is not English) Credential evaluation from World Education Services (if college/university coursework was completed outside the U.S.)
