A forum for students and staff to discuss their identities and how they differ (or coincide) in various contexts, location, and times. And to discuss what these identities mean to them as members of St Chad’s, Durham University, and the wider world.
To start the term off, we’re delighted that Chad’s undergraduates Ella Vickers, Mitali Goel, and Flik Fing are going to talk about what it is like to come from distinct and diverse backgrounds; from communities that have shaped their outlooks on the world and to which they feel a sense of affinity and affection.
Once they have shared their stories, they’ll be the chance for others to ask questions and reflect on where they come from, how that impacts their experience of being at St Chad’s, and how it informs where they want to go.
