Pro Sport: The Only Way is Ethics
Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson is one of Britain's greatest Paralympic athletes. In total in her Paralympic career she won 16 medals and also 12 World Championship medals. Between 1992 and 2002 she won the London Marathon six times and has held over 30 world records. In 2005 she became ‘Dame’ Tanni GreyThompson and is now Baroness Grey-Thompson, of Eaglescliffe in the County of Durham.

Martin Roderick is head of department in Durham’s Sport and Exercise Sciences. His PhD on professional footballers was the basis of his book The work of professional football: A Labour of Love? He’s done research for the Professional Footballers’ Association, The Football Association, The Football Foundation and the Racing Foundation and is now looking into the interface of elite athlete’s public and private personas.
