Quality programming College for All Kids programs are designed to attain the following goals: • Provide hands-on exploration in specialized fields such as science, engineering, technology, chemestry, math, language arts, computer science, career explorations, visual/ performing arts, fine arts and sports. • Provide challenging experiences and intellectual stimulation for students to develop their special interests. • Expose students to a learning atmosphere that will motivate them to achieve their highest potential.
Safe We are committed to ensuring your child’s safety. All instructors and staff have passed a background check, and camp assistants are CPR and First Aidcertified and Epi-Pen trained. Training for all staff is provided to ensure the safest environment possible. Parents
must sign their child in and out daily. Our student-to-adult ratio is 10:1. Safety, fun and learning are what our program is all about!
Diverse Join College for All Kids for a fun-filled summer with so much variety you will never get bored! Our camps range from culinary to technology and everything in-between! You will definitely find a program that your child will love.

with activity and get very hungry. $6 will cover lunch and drink (water bottle or Sunny D), and $1 covers the ice cream bar on Fridays. Who knows, your child may meet his or her new BFF at camp!
Flexible Come for a half-day camp or full-day camp, or come for the whole summer. Our before- and after-care program gives working parents the flexibility your family needs!
Fun Our instructors and staff are committed to making sure your child has a blast at camp with lots of fun, hands-on activities and cool projects. Fridays are fun days with extra activities and an ice cream bar after lunch. What can be more fun than that? Kids have the option of purchasing lunch in the Student Center cafeteria or bringing lunch from home. Don’t forget to send a snack each day – students are busy

Before-care is available at 7 a.m., and after-care is available until 5:45 p.m. The minimum age for students to attend is 5 years old. There will be no after-care available for half-day morning camps if your child is only registered in a morning camp. For afternoon-only camps, there will be no before-care available if your child is only registered in an afternoon camp.
Lunch Supervision If you register your child in both a morning and afternoon half-day camp, you must register for lunch supervision. The cost is $15. No student can be left unattended for lunch. Safety is our #1 goal! Our staff will pick up students from their camp, supervise them at lunch and take them to their afternoon camp. Full-day camps do not require registration for lunch supervision.

THINGS PARENTS SHOULD KNOW Days, Dates and Hours
Drop-Off and Pick-Up Times
Full-day camps are scheduled in one-week sessions from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday including a lunch and recess period. Recess includes a walk to the College Center gym after lunch with student’s choice of games to play. Choose from a variety of programs to create a half-day or full day of camps. Before- and after-care are also available from 7-9 a.m. and 4-5:45 p.m. Half-day camps are from 9 a.m.-noon and/or 1-4 p.m. If you choose two half-day camps, you must register for a lunch supervision. Full-day camps do not require registration in lunch supervision.
For safety reasons, children are not allowed on campus unless accompanied by an adult or registered for an SCC camp or class. Additionally, parents/guardians need to bring children to their camp or before-care in the morning and sign them in. After camp, all students need to be picked up; an ID must be shown upon pick-up. Also, students must not be on campus more than 15 minutes prior to camp, and they must be picked up within 15 minutes after camp ends. No vehicles can be parked in the front circle lot.
Locations
Students not picked by 4:15 p.m. will be escorted to aftercare located in Room 112 in the Fine Arts Building and must remain until a parent or guardian comes in to pick him/her up. NOTE: repeated late pick ups (more than two) will result in a mandatory $25 charge.
Most camps are held at SCC except the Glasstastic Extravaganza Camp, which is held at Art Glass Array, and new camps held at Quail Ridge Park in Wentzville in co-sponsorship with St. Charles County Parks.

Check‑In Procedure All students will check in on Monday mornings no earlier than 10-15 minutes prior to the start of camp or before-care. Detailed information about location of a particular camp is located in your confirmation email. At this time, you can turn in your health form and hold harmless form (unless you already mailed them in), receive your name badge, pick up a lunch menu and receive any additional information for your camp. If your child has an EPI-Pen and is not able to self-administer, please have it labeled with the child’s name and in a sealed bag, and check it in to a staff member. Note: Please mail in emergency forms two weeks prior to the start of your camp.

Who We Are: The College for All Kids Team We are passionate about providing welcoming, safe camps that inspire and cultivate everyone’s interests and spark new ones! Our qualified, caring and competent instructors and camp assistants believe that offering an innovative, active education is key to enriching a child’s mind, body and spirit. Most instructors are teachers or professionals in their field. Camp assistants are college or high school students who have participated in orientation and a training workshop that includes being CPR-certified and EPI-Pen trained. Many plan to pursue education degrees in college. All instructors and staff have passed a criminal background check. STEM, STEAM & YPT CAMPS In support of the Missouri Department of Higher Education’s (MDHE) commitment to improve education and support the development of industry in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), St. Charles Community College will offer 47 youth STEM camps this summer. NEW! STEAM CAMPS – STEAM‑based education camps (science, technology, engineering, art and math) combine critical thinking skills and creative problem-solving skills together for a well-rounded education. College for All Kids supports this initiative by offering more camps in the arts, where students can attend morning and afternoon sessions or full day camps for STEM and STEAM opportunities. Young People’s Theatre is one of the leading youth acting programs in the region. YPT will offer several camps blending instructional and performance opportunities. Our summer theater programs will help students develop skills that will last a lifetime!

WEEK OF JUNE 5 Cougar Cheer Camp (Ages 5-7)
Raging Reaction Lab/Grossology (Ages 7-12)
Go Cougars! Come cheer for SCC! During this fun-filled camp students will learn cheers, chants and jumps, as well as some stunting. All of these skills will be put together for a performance on the last day. This is a perfect opportunity for girls and boys to advance their skills in cheer-leading or start learning from the beginning. T-shirt included in camp. NO AFTER-CARE AVAILABLE FOR THIS CAMP.
Do you love to gross people out? In this ghastly camp, you will have burping contests, watch something decompose, make fake vomit, blisters and scabs. Not gross enough? Campers will also dissect owl pellets, make slime and learn about the physiology of snot. There will be experiments with Mentos and Coke, and we’ll make pop and bottle rockets and self-inflating balloons.

Geo-caching – The Search for Treasure! (Ages 7-12) Welcome to the ‘high-tech’ treasure hunt. Join us for one of the fastest growing outdoor activities. Using hand-held GPS units, you will hike SCC for buried caches. Be the first group to master reading a map and coordinates, learn the importance of maintaining your logbook, and use Internet sites to update data that can be used by other hunters. After this week, you will be able to direct your own family on a similar adventure. Bring your GPS to camp if you have one. Camp requires physical activity. Students will be doing a lot of walking. Minecraft Designers If you love the game Minecraft and always wanted to design your own world, this camp is for you! Learn how to create a custom map, the basics of creating 3D models using a new software to design your very own objects, how to build with Redstone and Command blocks, and create custom textures for you to import at home or share with friends. To access their project at home, students must own a PC/MAC version of Minecraft. Tablet, phone, and game console versions of Minecraft are not compatible. Parent email address is required to use 3D modeling software. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. App Attack! Take the first steps into the world of mobile app design and customize your own game app! Using a specialized app and game development tool, students will explore the world of web-based (HTML5) mobile apps. In addition to learning the basics of mobile app design and game development, you will also see first-hand how the world of app publishing functions. Percy Jackson Olympians, Lightning Thief Camp (Ages 8-12) Join Percy and his friends as mythological monsters and the gods of Mount Olympus walk straight out of the pages of Percy’s Greek mythology textbook right into this fun and imaginative camp. Do you have what it takes to fight your way through a world of mythological monsters and dangerous demi-gods? If you find your way to camp half-blood, you just may learn to fight like a real hero, save mythological creatures and battle the powers of the underworld. Video Game Animation Take your game design skills to the next level by creating and animating your own character sprites, objects and backgrounds. Start with a name, develop the character’s personality, signature moves, special powers and a story line. Finish with a fully animated character to be used in your very own game. Students do not need any prior experience in game design, animation or sketching. Student created games will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Games are only compatible on PC computers; MAC versions can be created after the program for a $15 conversion fee. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. Jewelry Designers (Ages 9-13) Have you ever dreamed of designing your own jewelry line? Campers will create a bracelet, a pair of earrings and a necklace. In a two-step process, campers will first design their piece and then create it using hands-on methods and an awesome selection of materials. CSI: Mystery to Trial (Ages 10-12) Step into the shoes of a crime scene investigator. A mystery needs to be solved! Working together as a crime scene unit, you will take crime scene photographs, search for clues and start a case file to keep track of the evidence. Learn real procedures for collecting fingerprints and analyzing DNA, put clues together, and interview witnesses to find the truth of the mystery. A mock trial will be held on the final day of camp. Discover how forensic experts and witnesses testify in court. Play the jury, decide whether the evidence was properly handled, and deliver a verdict. 6/19-6/23 M-F

Students will be making gourmet sandwiches, homemade pizzas, cupcakes, pasta and more. Each day will be a different theme. Students will be cooking breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and dessert foods. Ages 7-9
Prerequisite: Must have taken a previous LEGO camp or class. Program your robots to meet more challenges. Projects will include fork lift, puppy dog, baseball and a humanoid. Students design and implement their own projects. Students will work in teams. Bring along your enthusiasm and imagination and have a blast with robotics fun! Mad Science – Science Palooza (Ages 5-12)

Virtual Reality: The Future is Now Embark on an epic adventure in virtual reality! In this cuttingedge camp, you will learn the foundations of VR design by creating your own virtual worlds, exploring simulated environments and crafting memorable 3D experiences. At the end of the week, take home your first cardboard VR headset to show friends and family the new worlds you created. VR projects can be viewed on a website or a mobile device. Students do not need a mobile device to take the class, but to use the VR headset at home a camper will need access to an Android or Apple mobile device. Students will work in pairs or teams, and VR games will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. $19 supply fee payable with tuition.
Mad Science invites you to discover a week of all things science! Campers will dissect owl pellets and build a super strong bridge. Can your bridge withstand the shake, rattle and roll challenge? Want a cool way to recycle newspaper? How about turning it into a geodesic dome that you and your friends can sit in? Campers will explore the world of birds and beasts with birdhouse building and our super bug investigation. Campers will roll up their sleeves in the Mad Science chemistry lab and mix, mash and brew concoctions to create cool sidewalk chalk and bath fizzers. Assemble and control pulleys, levers, catapults, simple machines and megapinchers. Campers will discover the wonders of photography and make their own chromatography-dyed T-shirt.
