Porcelain is a responsibly sourced material produced with natural raw materials such as clay, sand, and feldspar. During production, no waste or byproducts are created, nor are plastics or resins used. It’s also referred to as sintered stone and ultra-compact surfaces
Porcelain is not a new material. In fact, porcelain has been around for thousands of years. Today, porcelain is available in larger slabs, up to 126” by 63.” Manufacturing technology has made advancements in printing on the porcelain’s surface before being baked in the kiln, without distorting the image.
Porcelain colors come in numerous designs. Advanced digital imaging techniques allow vivid graphics that mimic the most beautiful marble, other natural stones, wood, metal, or any desired pattern to be applied directly to the porcelain slabs by the manufacturer.
