Come and chat to us
Speak to our lovely team! If you’re on the hunt for something specific, don’t be afraid to let us know. We may have the perfect item hiding in the back, just waiting to go out on the shop floor.
1
Visit frequently
We put out new stock every day. If you visit us on weekdays, we’re likely to be a bit quieter and that means less competition for the best stuff! There may be times when you leave with nothing but if at first you don’t succeed… it pays to pop in regularly.

Donate pre-loved items
Why not donate clothes you no longer wear to the Hospice and encourage friends and family to do the same? We rely on a continuous stream of donations to keep our shops running. The more pre-loved items we get, the more likely you are to find something you love.

Think vintage
Look for timeless pieces that never go out of fashion. We have dedicated vintage areas in some of our shops with unique pieces on offer so be ready to have a rummage. If you’d rather shop from the comfort of home, our Etsy store is updated with vintage treasures regularly. www.etsy.com/uk/shop/ StColumbasVintage

Try it on
Measurements, particularly in vintage clothing, can vary vastly. Alterations are often relatively cheap compared to buying something new or you may find a little creativity with a belt or pin is all that’s needed to make it a new wardrobe favourite!
