We’re delighted to welcome two new charity partners this year, Citibank Edinburgh and Intercontinental Edinburgh the George Hotel. We’re really looking forward to working with both teams and developing the partnerships over the coming year.

Citibank Edinburgh made a generous donation of £5,000 and held their own Winter Olympics that raised £1,225. In December they took part in a one-off Give an Hour of your salary which raised £1,175 - a huge thanks to all the teams involved!

Launched in May, our partnership with Intercontinental Edinburgh the George Hotel gives guests of the Printing Press Bar & Kitchen the option to add invisible chips (£5) to their bill, while visitors at Burr & Co will be able to add an invisible coffee (£3) to their order. Every donation will directly help the patients and families we support. Our charity partner Barratt’s East held their annual Charity Golf Day at Longniddry Golf Club, raising £9,000 from entry fees, sponsorship, a prize draw and donations. Thanks to all participants for their generosity, this was then rounded up by Barratt’s to an amazing total of £20,000. A huge thank you to the team at Amazon Edinburgh their kind donations over the past few months including decorations, complementary therapy oils and balms, goodies for the Iona Café and furniture for our new Staff Wellness Space.

Coming up..!

Our Dragon Boat Race is back for 2022! If your workplace is up for the challenge, join us on Saturday 20th August (9am-4pm) at Port Edgar Marina, South Queensferry. Dragon Boat racing is an amazing team activity that requires great communication to be successful! No experience is required as we will provide crew briefings and training on the day. Each team of 16 rowers and 1 drummer will battle it out to record the fastest time, who will claim the coveted first-place trophy?
