welcome
this season... Welcome to St Donats Arts Centre Another bumper packed season ahead for St Donats with a programme of events to while away those wintery evenings ahead. We constantly strive to diversify our programme so that we can give you more choice & quality, so for this season we are introducing comedy at St Donats in the guise of Steve Hall & Rob Deering. Two of the funniest comedians on the circuit today who have just recently returned from a successful tour at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. An eclectic mix of live music from up & coming blues singer Sean Taylor, The Whiskey Dogs & Mambo Jambo, plus of course two delightful performances for the kids from Sherman Cymru with the “The Elves & the Shoemakers”. Adding to this we have the ever popular Jazz Series & the Café concerts. Lastly but not least, to get you in the festive spirit we of course have the annual Crafts for Christmas Fayre, and a selection of Christmas concerts, with of course Stage Door 1’s Panto. So there’s no reason for you to stay in this Winter I’m sure you’ll agree!

The work I have produced is abstract and no one specific meaning can or should be sought. The titles suggest possibilities to the viewer while remaining open to individual interpretation, encouraging an engagement in personal contemplation and creative thought. As many questions are raised, as are answered but the works seek to explore the possibilities of existence and celebrate the richness of life. I hope readers will explore the work for themselves, find their own meanings, and enhance their own voyage of discovery.
